Hi everyone,

I just received AOR,
"This letter confirms that your Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class was received
by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) at the Case Processing Centre in
Mississauga"

How can I link my application? And what is usually the next step?

The accout status never changed after I submitted my documents. It is always pending processing.

Hello, I'm applying from Quebec to sponsor my parents, I received this week what appears to be AOR from CPC Mississauga, with my UCI and an application number beginning with F00, but I am very confused on what to do next, as my understanding is that I would need to proceed with the Quebec CSQ application, but from what I read, I actually need a letter from IRCC stating I'm good as a sponsor in order to start the process with Quebec.

So far, the only letter I have received says "La présente lettre confirme que le Centre de Traitement des demandes de Mississauga d'Immigration, Réfugiés et Citoyenneté Canada a recu votre demande pour parrainer la (les) personnes suivante (s), etc.,"

Then it says "Si vous résidez au Québec, vous n'avez pas à fournir les documents susmentionnés (meaning IMM 5768 and 5748), vous devez répondre aux exigences du Québec en matiére de parrainage aux fins d'immigration. Le ministère du Québec chargé de l'immigration évaluera votre revenu.

Now, I don't understand, do we applicants from Quebec need to receive a second letter from IRCC after AOR to be able to send the CSQ application to Québec?

I ask because AOR from IRCC does not really say that I'm approved as a sponsor yet but simply that they have received my application, can anyone please explain?

hey I saw your signature that IRCC confirmed they received your PCC documents at a later date after your submission. Did you send a web form inquiry asking them to confirm? or they spontaneously confirmed you with any notification?

I called ircc to check they didnt received even after deadline since we sent 7 days before deadline
Then agent suggested send again through email i did and i always check the file status by calling ircc and using automated service after the email next day its start saying we have received your additional documents you provided before it was keep saying we need additional documents to process application!!

Is the automated service you mentioned the secure account (login with GCkey, linked application) or the PR portal ( where we submit the application package)?

N9ne of these im saying when you call ircc you can know status without talking to a agent

Just wanted to update here since people are receiving Medical request. I did not get an email but when I logged in to MyCiC account, there were 2 messages which were for Medical Request for my parents.

Can you update it in tracker too.

Why do they do background check? Is this a random pick or for all applicants parents?
