Announced today.
still drawn from the same pool from 2020, MNI for 2019, 2020(-30%), 2021(-30%).

Wow. I missed that. So new applicants are SOL.

Does anyone know how many people are left in the 2020 pool (ie how many interest to sponsor forms were received in 2020?)

That's just a high level of nonsense and bs from IRCC. I didn't submit my interest in 2020 because I was lacking one year of proper earnings and decided to submit my interest in 2021 but because IRCC never opened this form I now missed 2020, 2021 and 2022 pools! WTF is that? I should have just lied back in 2020

Thank you!
Still not a great chance but better than nothing I suppose...

In summary & unverified:
~203,000 interest forms received - 13,400 invitations sent in Jan/2021 - 34,500 invitations sent in Oct/2021 = 155,100 'forms' left in pool.
CIC will be inviting 23,100 this year (2022) so chances of getting selected would be 14.89% :(:(

EDIT:

Actually IRCC did state they will be inviting people from remaining pool of 155,313 potential sponsors who submitted interest in 2020.

Our interest to sponsor has been submitted by the representative, and he says he gave his own email address for all his applications. Would it make any difference in the probability of getting the invitation as so many applications has been done from same email adddress

So your interest to sponsor was submitted in 2020? If so, IRCC randomly selects applications not emails.
