They can try to get a TRV. The fact that you applied for asylum will have an impact on their application out of concern that they will also apply for asylum. If you apply for one parent only and only one parent travels to Canada and returns to their home country after a short visit you are setting out a pattern of behaviour showing they will follow the conditions of a visitor visa. You can certainly try for the 2nd parent but approval of the second parent will be more difficult. If your parents only want to travel together then there is no point applying separately.

Personally think that applying for one of them will show better chances, you may try for the other one after a few months might be the best thing to do.
@jinglebell0123 Yeh its seems a gd idea . And tbh they dnt hv any intention to stay here forever . They just wanna visit but for now i will apply for my father. Btw can you please tell me how much amount in my father bank account would be enough ? Should i attach my statement if i have 5 to 6k$ in my account ! And we can attach our property documents back home, my father business registration document . Are documents are enough ? And one more thing how long visa we should ask for !
@canuck78 yr response will be appreciated thanks

Your father should include his personal bank statements and proof of any property ownership. You can include your savings as secondary proof. 5-6K is not enough to show that you can support any visitor. Visitors are expected to show they can support their own travel costs.

@canuck78 I mean minimum for one person visit
The isn’t an exact amount. IRCC looks at the whole picture like what other assets your parents have and their value, their previous international travel to places like the US, UK, Australia, etc., their ties to their home country, their country of citizenship and lastly your own funds and assets. Since you claimed asylum and don’t have a lot of savings the VO will likely want to see a strong application from your parent(s).

I think Canuck78 answered the question, the documents you mentions are definitely helpful but you are going to need more than that. Actually your account isn't that much concentrated on than your father's. They will look at your father's bank statement and financial documents. It is important for your father to show much more than that.
