We got the update Feb 10 and I still can't link to GC key. I find it so frustrating.

I'm not sure why linking to GCKey is required ? Say I created a login at IRCC website ( https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login ) with email id "foo@gmail.com" and submitted my PGP application online using id "foo@gmail.com". I don't understand when folks talk about GCKey. Why can't one login ( https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login ) with foo@gmail.com and check the status ? Why do you require GCKey. Am I missing something here ?

Anyone from November batch received any update. I am 26th November applicant.
hi.. i am in the same boat. Submitted on 27th Nov. have not received any ghost mail or updates. Tried to link the GC key, didn't work either.

If your parents are in India then you can apply through https://www.passportindia.gov.in/ , it takes total 3 weeks to get the PCC.
Once you complete your appointment in passport office , they will send the notification to your local police station.
But the police never turned up personally for verification , so in my opinion once you received the notification saying the application sent to police station , then please visit station and get the things done

I'm in the same boat. I got the lottery in Oct/2021 and I submitted my application on Nov/13/2021. My parents are planning to make a trip to Canada for summer 2022 on visitor visa. Wondering if I get an invite for (1) Medical (2) PCC while my parents are in Canada, can both Medical + PCC be done in Canada ? OR, should they have to return to India and complete the process ???

I received ghost email on Feb 10.
After that I haven’t received any email or update.
Is anyone’s situation similar to mine

It can be done from Canada. PCC can be done through BLS/Indian Embassy.

Hello Experts,

My parents rec'd communication from IRCC today requesting them to undergo medical exam. My questions are as follows:

1) Nowhere in the letter it mentions anything about the PGP application. However, the Application # starts with FXXXXXXXXX (F followed by 9 digits which means it is a family class application type?)
2) They haven't rec'd the AOR yet but rec'd medical request. Is that typical or unusual?
3) My parents had also applied for the Supervisa and had completed their upfront medicals as part of the supervisa application. It is still valid. How do I send the upfront medical that i have to IRCC?

Thanks.

1. yes the same in my case. that's your file number.
2. not very common in previous batches. very common in our batch. maybe sth to do with the new PR portal. anyway congratulations AOR is implied.
3. you can raise a webform to ask them to review your earlier medical reports for this application. Upload what you have on hand and use the application number starting with F.

btw, when did you submit?

Thanks a lot. I believe we could apply for it beforehand as PCC is valid for 1 year, right ?

I believe they can do medical as well as PCC (via Indian consulate/BLS Canada) from Canada itself.
