If I am just becoming a PR in a couple of weeks now, what do I have to do in 2022 if I want to bring only my father to Canada with me? My husband is a Canadian born citizen if there is a separate process for that.

Has your husband been living and working in Canada for the past 3 years? Does he live in Quebec? There is no way that you can move your father with you next year. He can try to come and visit you next year of he can get a TRV. Parent sponsorship is never guaranteed. The demand for spots far exceeds spots available. Many apply for years before they get a spot, they need 3 years of a certain level of Canadian income to qualify and processing is 20-24+ months these days. You need to be making arrangements for your father in your home country until you have actually been accepted to sponsor your father. He may be able to visit but will likely have to return home for periods of time.
