I did online application to Permanent Resident Portal like everybody else. Linking it is through IRCC my account. Its not mandatory to link the application. But by doing so, you can track the status and get updates of your online application.

In the permanent resident portal, was it under your name or under your Principal sponsors name? Because in my case It was under my principal sponsor's name and email address. Not sure if this is correct and we enclosed as well the representative form. Thank you.

Under PA’s name and my email add. You did it right. Not everyone got the ghost email update.

Hi All,

Submitted my parents application last October 20, 2021, but no ghost email or any notification.

Just to confirm, I used the Permanent Residence Portal to submitted their application under PA name and email address. The portal is correct right?

First I submitted on October 8,2021 and then on November 23,2021 I received letter from cic for requested document IMM 5406 to as incomplete form which We did not find anything missing but still filled and followed the instruction as per letter. And then resubmit application on November 24,2021. Since then after didn't hear anything yet.

so when something is missing they don't tell you exactly what's missing?

No. They have standred letter. Only they mention which form is incomplete. But not specify with which information is missing.

I am in same boat as you. I submitted the application on Oct 26, then on Dec 23 i got email with letter attached, asking for IMM 5406 and IMM 5669 form with hand signed. As these forms were filled online when as per document checklist when i first submitted application on Oct 26. But then in letter they ask me to hand sign and send it to specific email, which i did that. Then i was should i go on online portal and submit the same, as in the letter they said only to email and they stated nothing what to do online. So what i did was i submitted the forms via email as they asked for, and they said not to submit the forms via two options as duplicate copies will not be considered. And for online portal i attached the letter in which they asked me to send the specific docs to specific emial, and i also i attached letter of explanation, that as your requested letter, i have submitted the requested document on this specific email and on this date/time and then i re-submitted the application on online portal. No update yet. Hopefully i did right

Yes I sent document by email and online portal also Imm 5406 was "ready to submit " button was open so I filled and submit again. And yes I did include Explanation letter as well. hope for the best.

I have submitted the application on November 4 and still no update/ghost emails.

I submitted my application on Nov 23rd 2021, haven't received any communication whatsoever. No ghost emails and am not able to link Gckey as well. My application just doesn't show up. Anyone else in the same boat?

I am not able to link the application in GCkey so I guess my application is not in process yet.

received application back stating that IMM 5406 are incomplete.
I am in process of resending it. However, for my mothers siblings; I need to add an additional sheet since the form only allows up to 3.
My question is do I just attach a blank sheet or can I take a copy of the same form first page?

Attach a blank sheet and follow the same format as per IMM 5406.
