Hi All,
I have a question regarding PGP sponsorship. I am not meeting the requirements for 2018, and 2019, but I am meeting the income requirements for 2020. I also meet the requirements if I add them all (2018,2019,2020) up together. Do I still qualify for PGP sponsorship? Also can I sponsor my spouse in parallel while my PGP application in process?
Thanks

No, you do not qualify to sponsor your parents. The application is guaranteed to be refused and you're wasting your time and money applying.

I have a question and I would truly appreciate it it someone can help me please. Does the principal applicant need to hand sign the IMM 1344. Please help me with this question.
Thank you

In the guideline it says - “ Remember to check for signature requirements and sign when needed, either by hand or electronically. If forms are not signed in the correct places, and by the correct people, we will return your application without processing it.”

Does it mean they’ll reject the application? Or will the applicant get chance to resubmit the updated application?

I believe you get a chance to resubmit the updated application, you don't loose your slot

One more question please. The guide says, we have to submit one representative form for sponsor and one for principal applicant. Is everyone submitting two representative forms?
I have done visitor visas and spousal support applications but I have always submitted only one form. I am so confused for this one.
i would be grateful and truly appreciate it if someone can help me with this please? Please help me with this question as well.

Hi everyone, I have a quick question please, do we really need to submit a resume for our parents, I see it is listed on the document check list. My mum whom I'm sponsoring is almost 70 and has long since retired, is this really necessary, thanks for the response.

No, you can't. The niece isn't classified as a dependent.

The only way this would be possible is if both of the niece's parents were deceased and the child had been legally adopted by the grandmother.

Since they niece's mother is still alive, not possible.
Thank you

Hi Guys

After submission, how many days it takes for AOR?

if there are more information/documents needed they will ask us and we have to submit within the deadline as per the invitation letter. if the deadline passes (dec 6) and we still don't hear back from them (or no AOR) does that mean its all good with our application?

Thanks
Raj

This is only if you are using a representative other than yourself (law firm, paid etc.) Then you need to submit two forms - as he/she will be representing both of you guys (you - the sponsor, and your parents - applicants).

But if you serve yourself as a representative for your parents - then you need to submit only one from - signed by your parents and yourself (as representative.).

In general it's all in the GUIDE (AND IT IS PRETTY CLEAR AND STRAIGHFORWARD)- PEOPLE READ IT PLEASE. NO ONE WILL BE DOING THIS WORK FOR YOU. DO NOT BE LAZY.

THIS IS THE LAST TIME I AM GIVING THIS ADVICE AND PROVIDING THE LINK.

USE IT BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONS, ANSWERS TO WHICH CAN BE FOUND IN A GUIDE.

The dec 6 deadline is for submission. AOR timelines depends, from the tracker its about 6 months, if they need additional info they may reach out before the regular AOR timeline

If its on the document checklist then it is a requirement, please do a simple resume with the similar timeline you put in her employment history. if she is retired all through then put retired.

Hello One last Question Please.

I have filled the form for the use representative for my mother and uploaded all the forms and documents. Last electronic signature, is it alright if i sign it for my mother. my mother does not know how to use the computer and even if though it is simple I dont think my mother can ask for help from someone to help her. Hoping to get advice from people who have submitted.
