No. 9 on the document checklist is saying I have to pay for biometrics, I thought they are waiving that requirement for anyone who has given biometrics in the last 10 years?

Hello guys

I am an IT Consultant and Have my own incorporation. and I pay salary to myself every month. Thats the only source of income for me.

Now in Form IMM5768, do I chose "Self Employed" or "Employer" and give my Incorporation as my employer (As per T4)?

Also, in the gross income section, If I say "self employed" do I give the gross income of the company? or just the gross salary I pay to myself in a year?

If I mention employer ofcourse I have to give only Gross income of myself.
Do not know the exact answer. I think it's whatever you have in your NOA line 15000. IIt's likely the same as your T4 unless you have other form of income that's pay from your business to you.

You are self employed. But there are different ways to file tax as self employed.
IRCC is only interested in your personal tax return amount. As your company is incorporated, money made in your company stays in the company. It's not your money until it's paid to you in some form.

I am not an accountant. So this is my best guess.

Hi
I'm sponsoring my Parents, got the invitation and my income for the year 2020 is less, so my wife is co-signing the application. I sponsored my wife and she came to Canada in August 2019. Is she eligible to co-sign. Please reply ASAP I don't have much time to make changes.

Hi Everyone,

1.) In the use of representative form, under Section-D: Your Declaration, I see there is spot for Signature of spouse or common-law partner for sponsorship application, is this signature needed only if there is a co-signer? In my case am the only one sponsoring and signed under representative's declaration.
Bit confusing.

2.) I don't have my DOB certificate, so can I use my passport as a relationship proof as it contains both my parents information or any other equivalent document.

Please help.

Hello All,

I have two quick questions about sponsoring my parents
1. In 2018 I had one kid so my family size for LICO would be 5 (me+spouse+kid+2 parents). In 2020 I had another kid so in 2020 my family size would be 6 or for LICO we keep current family size i.e. 6 for all past three years?
2. I made an error on my taxes for 2019 and will be changing it to reflect higher income, it will take a few weeks for new NOA to be available. The deadline to submit the application is 6 Nov, 2021. Getting the new updated NOA after 6 Nov would be ok for the application?

1. 5 for 2018 and 2019 and 6 for 2020.
2. I believe you mean December 6th. To the best of my knowledge you would need to have the amended NOA by December 6th and include it as part of your original application submission. But I guess you can try and see what happens.

Would warn you that income suddenly found right after getting selected for parent sponsorship is quite suspicious. CRA and IRCC is aware that people suddenly “discover” income they forgot to declare. This could lead to further investigation of missing income that you may not have declared in previous years and going forward.

Hi, I am sorry if this question is being asked. How much in total do we have to pay for both parents application without having any children?
Is it 2100 for both or 1100? Or another figure. Thank you.

Hello good day,
One question - My father and mother are applying for the PGP Application 2021 and my father is primary applicant.
I want to know how to enter the details for my mother. Should they make a new application for her or should they add her details in the same application.
thanks.
