Hi - I am trying to complete form IMM-5768 for my father, my wife and I had sponsored her mother in 2017. For the question, 3B i and iii, do I show her as a previous undertaking that I signed as sponsor that is still in effect. What is the undertaking valid for in years?

Undertaking for parents before October 24, 2017 is 10 years. After is 20 years. It's the landing date.

I am filling out IMM1344, and hopefully someone can help.

When I validate the form, it says that if applying online, don't need to sign by hand. But checklist (IMM5771) says:
o "be completed online, printed, signed by hand and dated by you (the sponsor), your co-signer (if applicable), and the person you are
sponsoring (principal applicant). Make a digital copy of the completed, signed and dated for "

So, do I need to print, sign the sponsor, co-signer, and application section, and then scan and upload the scanned form? Or no signing required?
I am following this as I have the same question. Can anyone clarify if the form needs to be signed by hand for all three people involved?

Hi @steaky. Thank you for the response. Below is the questions. Please not im filling up the form for my dad.
3A - Current Undertaking: Number of persons included in box#3 of the Generic Form for Canada.
- Im only sponsoring my dad and my wife is co-signing, should I just put 1?

5 - Your Spouse or common law partner, if not included in 3 above, Provide details on the back of this page if they are not cosigning the undertaking.
- as per comment below my wife is cosigning so im quite confuse what to key in here.

6 - Every other family member not included above and dependent on you financially, whether they are living with you or not.
- As per my understanding I need to enter all my siblings?

Thank you for your time.

In IM008, it asks: during the past five years, have you lived in any country other than your country of citizenship or your current country of residence (indicated above) for more than six months? (required) And the guide says it doesn't have to be 6 months in a row. a total of 6 month sor more is enough. My mom stayed two times with us and the total is 9 months. WHen I enter Canada that and choose "visitor" it asks me to input a from-to date. My mom visited twice so how can I enter both sets of dates into one row of date cells?
Thanks.

About the representation form IMM 5476, it says:
IMM 5476
  • If using a representative, this form must be provided by both the sponsor and the principal applicant. For sponsorship applications, you must complete and provide separate forms for the sponsor and principal applicant.
What does this mean? My mom filled one copy of the form as she wants to appoint a family member (me) as an uncompensated representative- does this mean my mom fills one and then I fill one separately? Or, because it's an uncompensated representative form, one form is wnough?
Thanks.
