I did not see anybody posting that they got an invite today. I wish we all get it soon.

Great to know that. In my case, we are waiting for the invitation for my in-laws. They can come here anytime, if needed. As winter is here soon, we are not willing to ask to travel them here. However, if we are invited, we might ask them to come here for few weeks. Lets see!!

Can you please help me with a clarification - Form IMM 0008. I keep seeing different opinions on who needs to be added as a dependent.
My, mother is the principal applicant, my father will be the dependent, I am an only child and I am the sponsor.
Does she need to add me to the form? I am confused about the wording below: You must list all your children even if they are already permanent residents or citizens of Canada)." It says all children but the form is for dependents.

You must provide details about each of your family members, whether they will come with you to Canada or not. You must list all your children even if they are already permanent residents or citizens of Canada).
You must also include details on family members if you don’t know where they are (even those missing or presumed dead). If you don’t list them on your application, you will not be able to sponsor them later if your situation changes.

Same here - I am sponsoring my father - He is retired and all the children are independent - do I have still have to add them under dependent in Online IMM008.

From the information I gathered NO, you don't need to list them. You only list those who fall under the dependent child definitions and your spouse.

The whole process of lottery system is just based on luck and some people wait for years to get it after multiple applications.
