He is misinforming everyone. He contacted a fake IRCC group and received reply that draw has been postponed.

Yes, looking at federal goverenment's plan on immigration cap (PGP will be reduced to 23500), this is the best shot to all of us compared to the previous years and years to come.

Technically this can be seen as an increase.
The only reason they are selecting 30,000 this time is to make up for only selecting 10,000 last time. They wanted to maintain that 20K/yr average.

So now they will increase from 20K to 23.5K for the next couple of years.

Given covid and the impact on our health system I think the increases will likely be revised.

Someone in the FB group says he contacted the CIC (FB account), saying the lottery will be postpended to next month. is that true?

Whether IRCC will select ALL 30000 or so applicants in the draw At A TIME- one go- & than send invitations in different lots over a period of 2 Weeks
Or
Select applicants in lottery many times upto 2 weeks.
When can we watch results at the Earliest
