Unfortunately I was not approved of sponsorship because my income was short of $1012.00 in 2018. this is just sad that IRCC cannot just look passed a $1000 for which I make double that income today. Please is there any advice.
It is really sad. But if you already knew that you were $1000 short of 2018 income, you should have refiled taxes for that year before submitting application. As someone already mentioned that reassessment of income for previous years is possible.

You should hire a immigration lawyer to help and put forward a strong case. They invite so many refugees without background checks and they can’t look past 1000 for the people that run the economy of this country. This is really bullish**t.

Very sorry to hear that. All hope is not lost yet! Yon need to send a letter/email to the officer who assessed your application ASKING HIM/HER TO CONSIDER YOUR APPLICATION BASED ON COMPASSIONATE GROUNDS. You would have to properly articulate how you are currently earning way more than the income requirement AND ALSO mention other compassionate reasons why you want to sponsor your parents at this time. Attach evidence of your current earnings etc.

No worry....e go beta!

That was sad, It took them a year for you to know you are not eligible. Have you ever link your application before you get the email? or any updates.
I try to link several times but did not work before I received the refusal letter

I had a call with IRCC few days back, the lady confirmed that there was no need to inform IRCC about PR to Citizen status change for the Sponsoring person...
How did you manage to get in touch with IRCC? I tried to call them for the past 2 months but could never connect. Someone else also posted earlier in this thread that they could call IRCC but did not provide more details. If you can pls share more details, it would be great. Thanks.
