Hello! I’m new here. My mom’s application was sent on December 5th, 2021 right before the deadline and she still hasn’t received the AOR. Is anybody else in the same boat? It’s been over 8 months now. Should we worry?
I am in the same situation. Submitted application for my parents-in-law on Dec 4th.

My parents just received the PPR email yesterday. Just want to share the timeline. My parents have had SuperVisa since 2017 and spent 1-2 years in Canada previously. Biometrics were exempted. Their application is processed at CPC Mississauga.

ITA: Sep 23, 2021
Application Submission: Oct 10, 2021
AOR / Eligibility to sponsor: dated Feb 23, 2022; received via postal mail at my residence sometime in the 1st week of March.
Medical Request email: Feb 22, 2022
Medical Exam done: Mar 1st, 2022
Medical Exam passed updated on GCKey: Mar 9th, 2022
Proactively submitted home country police certs via webform: Mar 19, 2022
Updated mailing address to my Canadian address via webform: Aug 8, 2022 (they came to visit us again in July)
Background check in progress on GC Key: Aug 9, 2022
PPR Email: Aug 10, 2022
Sent an enquiry via webform to ask for a virtual landing instead: Aug 10, 2022

They mentioned in the email that if the parents are in Canada, inform them within 5 days after receiving the PPR via webform so that they can arrange for a virtual landing instead.

I think the fact that they have SuperVisa helps speed up the process a lot. Hope this helps.

Quick Question - I got my parent's PCC and wondering how to submit them. How to submit docs through MyCIC ? When I log in and click on 'View Submitted Application or Upload Documents' there is no option to upload any document. I know I can use the email or the Web Form but was just wondering.

Hi when you say PCC submitted proactively, I just want to clarify that you submitted it without receiving any PCC related communication? And how did you submit it, we form , email or mail ? Thanks

Hi all,

I have a question if anyone in the same situation.

Parents has given Biometric On June 30 In canada (Brampton service canada location). When parents went to service canada they did only fingerprints and service canada people told parents that due to covid they don't take picture so they didnot took picture at the time of fingure print. And it is more than month but biometrics is not processed yet. On GC key I can see top right corner biometric numer and valid date but in the biometric line it shows "We did not receive your fingureprint"
Is that correct that due to covid they don't take picture?
Biometric request letter ask about picture also but this service canda people did not take picture.

Please help.... If someone in same boat.

my parents have Supervisa since 2017 as well and they are in Canada too. But my application has not even touched , submitted 01 Oct 2021.

I think it highly depends upon case officer

In the AOR / Eligibility to Sponsor letter, they listed a bunch of documents including the PCC that needed to be submitted asap. So we got the PCC done and submitted via webform. 3 months later, they emailed us confirming that they had received the PCC.
