Requested for form IM5404 on Jan 21st, 2022.
Submitted requested form on Jan 26th.
Received acknowledgement from them that they received the form on July 8th.
Meanwhile status all this while indicated Rejected.
Status finally changed to Submitted on August 1st.

last month i got biometrics letter, then medical and last approval as sponsor.
biometrics done, police clearance done...pending medical.
My mom got diagnosed early this year with stage1 cancer in uterus... she had hysterectomy and it was succesful. No need to chemo or radiation. She just had a check up and all is good. We did asked for clearance, but her oncologist requested to have pet ctscan to rule out cancer.
If we have to wait for the result, we might not meet the 30days
question- should we request extension to IRCC and get all the test so we have all documents and clearance before scheduling her medical
or will schedule her medical now and let the IRCC physician request the necessary test?

Hi,
I don't have advice for you in this situation beyond saying that you should speak to a lawyer who regularly deals with medical inadmissibility cases as soon as possible. What I know is that IRCC decides if it's likely that the applicant will cost the health care system $20,000 a year or so over the next five years (or sometimes ten), and then base their decision on that. Someone having cancer is a real question mark, so it would be great if you could have someone help you who knows what they're doing.
Whatever you decide, don't leave IRCC without an answer when the deadline to respond comes. One possibility is that the immigration doctor himself will decide to wait for the additional scan before filing a final report, but I don't know this for sure.

Looks like they’re taking longer in the final phase now. How many are done with PCC, Medical/Biometrics, Additional docs and waiting?
For My case Biometric was given on June 30 and still not updated in GC key.
And still waitiing for medical and PCC request. I received sponsor approval 1 month afte biometric request.

They are all over the place. For my case, it says biometrics number/date updated but status says “we have not received your fingerprints”. Also no sponsor approval/AOR. My mom’s visitor visa is expiring in November, and they’re planning a trip this September. Not sure whether I should wait or apply for extension.
Yes same with me for Biometrics.
Parents are going india in October. But I can suggest you should apply for extension because extension processing time also around 6 months so by that time for sure you will hear something for PGP process.

Sent PCC and additional documents on 5th June. No news yet....
do you see any letter In the bottom of Gc key account?
If you see then you can send the requested document via web form.
There's no letter in the bottom of the GC account. That's what's so perplexing!
Hello! I’m new here. My mom’s application was sent on December 5th, 2021 right before the deadline and she still hasn’t received the AOR. Is anybody else in the same boat? It’s been over 8 months now. Should we worry?
