Hello All, is anyone non Malaysian here that is required to get Malaysian Pcc ? I need guidance . My Indian parents visited Malaysia multiple times and the number of days visited for all trips comes to 340 days and as per Malaysian Ottawa embassy website and also canada.ca police checks links, it mentions that foreigners who stayed less than 12 consecutive months in Malaysia are not eligible to get PCC. Please comment if anyone has passed this way during their application. Thanks in advance.

I did that. I sent my child’s birth certificate along with little explanation, which I wrote in we form section. So far they did it not ask any additional documents.

Did your parents stayed more then six months or more in a SINGLE VISIT? if not they do not need to submit the PCC for Malaysia.

Here is what I found in application guide:

"Police certificates
If you and your family members are 18 years of age and older and aren’t permanent residents or Canadian citizens, you must provide a valid police certificate for any country other than Canada in which you spent 6 or more months in a row since the age of 18."

Above is the basic rule for all application, but did not find specific wording for PGP program. So better you double check with IRCC first.

Hi everyone,

My father received the pre arrival services letter back in March and I haven't heard back since then (4 mo). I'm wondering what are the next steps and if someone is in a similar situation?

Thanks!
