Good Day Everyone, I have received an invitation to apply last Monday, Sept27. My family size here in Canada is just 2 (Myself and My wife) and an invitation for my parents (My Father and mother), the total family size is 4.

Now, my question regarding the Co-signer, when I submitted the invitation to apply I mentioned my wife as a co-signer. But she does not do a full-time job, but always does part-time for the years of 2018, 2019, and 2020. Should I still keep her co-signer? Though, without her income I am qualified for income requirement for 4 people, but is it still a good sign to keep her as co-signer?

Honestly If you fully qualify income wise by yourself, I wouldn't add your wife as a co-signer, remember this an undertaking of 20 years that everyone that signs will be responsible for whether or not their situation in the future changes. Ex: you and your wife split, she still will be responsible for your parents; worst yet you were to pass your wife will be responsible for your parents. Don't get me wrong there is difference between taking responsibility of someone because you want and a total different one to do it because you must legally speaking. Also as far as I am concern there is no benefit in having your spouse co-sign other than to increase the income.

my question is --- On Financial Evaluation form # 5768, what will be my answer for question no. 2,3,5,6 & 7 (don't think 4 is applicable on me bcz no previous undertaking)

3 - 2 (Your Mother and Father) this assuming that you haven't signed/co-signed in any previous undertaking whether finalized or not
4 - 0 since your spouse is not co-signing
5 - 1 Your spouse (even if it is not co-signing)
6 - 1 Your daughter

Total = 5

I do think that they are sending invitations today since it is not a holiday, it is just that maybe people from the forum has not received yet. I am one of those still waiting for mine. Hopefully it will be today

Today is not holiday, but think like what would you have done. If I were an IRCC case officer, I would take a day off today and make a super long weekend. So pragmatically, there will be very few people working and # of invitations will be next to none for today.

If your sister is over 22 then no. Assume you are PR and have 3 years meeting LICO to enter the lottery next year.

HELP! My mom passport is expired. while they are doing the form IMM008 they can't input an expired passport, it has to be a future date for the expiration. What should I do then? Thank you.

How quickly can you get her passport renewed? Can you do that within 60 days?

How to check if you are invited to apply? There was a link before to check the status of the confirmation letter. But I don't see it now.
