After submitting PCC and additional documents, approx how long does it take to shift the file to the local CIC office or to make a decision? Biometric and Medical are already done.

is there a way to track your PR card after landing?
My parents are flying to Canada next week.
Since your parents just landed, I wonder if there are any specific documents that they need to have with them in addition to the COPR and negative PCR test and ARRIVECAN app on their phones?

Thanks!

Thanks!
Hope they are taking a direct flight. Else RTPCR will be required from the transit country.

Hello can someone please tell me how to contact ircc with all extensions. I tried to find it in one of the posts but couldn't.

Is it normal to receive pre arrival letter while they are still reviewing the medical
it may differ case by case, as I received by prearrival letter in April 2020 and medical, BIO and PPR in between Oct and Dec 2021. good news is they are processing the file atleaset.

Review following options but this is what I recall:
Press 1 then enter UCI applicant number ten digits not file number
Then 1
Press 1 again
Press 2
Chose 3
Then would enter application number six digits then confirm it by 1
Then enter year of birth of principle applicant
Then press 1, you will hear the application status then it will say to speak to an agent press zero.
Wish everyone get good news soon.

Thanks! There is no direct flight from Iran to Canada they have a stop in Vienna.
Yeah, they will do the PCR test within 72hr of their flight for sure!
Hi @Roya-FSW, just an FYI, your parents will have to get the PCR test done in Vienna as well.

Congrats! My parents landing was real smooth hope the same for yours. They only need ArriveCan barcode for all travelers (make sure they upload proof of vaccine and they show as vaccinated on the app), they also need to declare the list of goods they bring and goods to follow (2 copies of each) .

Hope this helps!

Hi everyone
Seeking some advice, hopefully someone can help. They ask for copies of additional documents ( PCC, divorce certificate). Do this copies need to be certified by a notary? They didn’t mention it on the letter. Anyone that went through this already?

Thanks

My parents 2019 PGP application is in process and medical has been completed. They arrived in canada on visitor visa last month. In case, their PR gets finalized while they are still in Canada, and they have stayed in canada on visitor visa for more than 3 months, then will OHIP 3 month waiting period be satisfied due to their stay? Or they will have to wait an additional 3 months before they can qualify for OHIP ..?
