Hey! I just received the pre-arrival service letter but no DM2 or PPR yet!
Did you receive that yesterday as well?
Congratulations! That’s great news!
I got Pre-Arrival right before they started the BG check, in late May.
Yours will show in progress soon now that they appear to be finally working.

Oh gosh my BG check still shows "not started yet"... This is so frustrating that they work in such a random and negligent way :(

one of my friends like me is unable to link application. He is a 2019 applicant and his application got an ECAS update recently

1. We received your application for permanent residence on XX, 2019.

2. We started processing your application on XX, 2021.

3. We sent you medical instructions on XX, 2020. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

4. Medical results have been received.
I don’t know the months mentioned in ecas.

why after medical, biometrics and SA letter, ecas updated as we started processing your application. What are the next steps?

Received SA letter on my email today.

I have a question re: police certificate as It was mentioned on the letter. Can i upload their police certificate on their CIC account which is valid until January 2022 (my parents requested it when they are preparing their documents) or should i wait for a request letter to submit it?
When was decision made?

Passport request letter, as the name suggests is for you to send your passports to the visa office for visa stamping. They Will put a visa on the passport and along with it, provide a COPR document. Once you get these, you can fly to Canada. At the point of entry (airport) you will be directed to an immigration officer. This officer will complete the formalities and stamp your COPR document. This is when you become a permanent resident of Canada and the process is called landing. You can apply for medical cards and other things once you’re in Canada.
Thank you so much. There is no formal decision letter I suppose then. I have the update in my online portal saying that a final decision is made and have the document number. For landing, I hope they don’t require any additional documents as they will be travelling from a different country so no possibility to arrange a document at the port of entry. Thanks so much

Thanks!

Don’t worry it could take a couple of days for them to start processing. You will probably see a ghost update on mycic when they start.

My application status recently added new line in status"medicals have been received"
Any idea at what stage is application at....?
