Hello everyone.

I understand applications are taking longer than usual, applicants are anxious and that it will not make it any faster if we keeping asking the same question over and over again...

However, as a June 2019 applicant who has never received any medical request yet, I wonder if that is normal.

I have seen many people with medicals done and actually receiving the PPR already.

Is there anyone out there from ~ June 2019 that has NEVER receive a medical request yet?

The only thing my parents did so far was biometrics.

Their application is in Mexico.

Just looking for come comfort and peace of mind. Like many of you, our family just can't handle the distance anymore with COVID-19 lingering around.

My thoughts are with you and your families, only immigrants really understand how hard it can be.

All the best,

Greg.
We are June 19th and only received a biomedical request on August 25, 2021. They had to travel to get the bio by air and had to quarantine and everything. We were hoping to get the medical request so they wouldn’t have to travel again. I sent a web form to see if there was anything they could do but they responded that they are only dealing with the Afghanistan situation. I’m super annoyed because it was so expensive to send them with such strict quarantine requirements. Now they need to get permission from their mayor to return and they all need PCR testing too. It’s going to cost so much money to do these requirements twice. Luckily they were able to get their COVID vaccines.

We are with you, I think the whole purpose of this forum thread is to feel a sense of companionship in what is a long, complicated and irregular journey.

As you might have seen, once the application moves out to the Visa office after it passes the sponsorship process, its treated completely on the timeline of the visa office. It doesnt matter if its received in April, May or June. So keep looking for folks in Mexico office and see how applications are moving in that office.

Now across offices, I see there is some movement as our batch of applications are well past the standard time, so I hope once they get hold of the application they will clear the files soon.

Hi prontissimo,

Seems they have a standard format here which they sent as a part of SA approval letter. On a side note, I am thinking to send the documents through both the web form and email too such that they recieve it one way or the other.

Yes, whenever you get a chance, if we can compare notes before sending the documents, that shall be great.
Hey Sid, got my documents submitted this week. Webform didn't give me a confirmation email right away, so I also sent by email, and got a confirmation email right away. Received another confirmation email the next day from the webform submission.

How's your progress?

Line 64:

My parents got re-medical request on Aug 2. Hospital said that the exam result was submitted on Aug 25, 2021 and they did not provide the result to applicants. So far, no updates at ECAS yet.

The IRCC request letter said:

Please only submit the requested information and documents via one of the following methods:
1. For instant updates, submit your documents via IRCC secure account (MyCIC) at:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html
2. If you cannot use IRCC secure account, you may submit your documents via email.
Please include “PGP-APR” and your file number in the subject line of the email to:
IRCC.CPCMParentsandGrandparents-Parentsetgrands-parentsCTDM.IRCC@cic.gc.ca
3. Additionally, you may send the requested information/document(s) via the IRCC webform at:
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

Does any one know if the 2nd medical result submitted by the panel physician clinic should be OK? (Because the first medical result was updated by this way.)

Thanks

Maybe this helps, eCAS:
  1. We received your application to sponsor xxxx on June 25, 2019.

Dependents listed on the application are: xxxx.
  2. We started processing your application on November 17, 2020.
I received Email Your application has been accepted under the intake cap for 2019 on December 9, 2019.

I don't want to confuse you for no reason as I have no way to confirm but I always thought eCAS showing DM since December 2019. So I was patiently waiting, and waiting until August 24, 2021 when I begun researching on it. I made a screenshot on August 26, 2021 showing eCAS DM. However, I was only informed on September 10, 2021 by received Email stating "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative will be forwarded to LVO".

So the next challenge for me is to find out when and how(by mail??) Warsaw sends request to parents for medical and biometrics. My parents recently sold the apartment from which the application was made (2 years 2months is a long stretch) and moved into a new house in a nearby city. The only hope is if the new tenants good enough to pass on the mail when it comes.
you can update your parents address via webform

Hi Guys,

May 8th applicant. Finally got request for passports!
However, they had gone back home and now we probably have to submit passports to VFS in Ktm.
Just a quick question. I have already sent an email to New Delhi office advising them that their mailing address had changed since they went back home couple of months back. What is the process like now? Just submit passport in ktm via VFS and VFS will return passports to them? Or is it a courier pick up service for passports? Any insight is appreciated. Thank you

Hi, my parents completed their medical on June 1, 2021. We have not heard anything after that. Medical has not been updated on GC Key/ECAS yet. Their application is being processed at the London visa office? Anyone else in the same boat? Parents Sponsorship application was sent in June 2019.
Same situation here.. ecas says medical pass 24th June and after that no update..

If your LVO is CPC-M, they should have requested PCC in the SA letter (email received in Sep 10) in a generic way.
Normally they ask PCC, travel history and CV.
If they have not asked, you can send PCC pro-actively.
They have with a list of the documents we have already submitted. So I need to go to the link provided there and request myself and then upload to cic??

Also I have a confirmation on cic that they received the medical as of 17th.

You can send your documents in LVO's email address given in the letter. Some also sent via IRCC webform.
What documents they have requested?

NDVO's PPR letter must have contained two options of submitting passports.
Please go through the instructions in detail. VFS at KTM used to run two way courier service to IRCC Delhi.
