Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hello everyone,

My mother's PR application is being processed in London and yesterday we have received a second medical request (IMM1017_2) and prepare your move to canada/pre-arrival services (IMM5801_2). Not sure what does it mean. As per our MP, security check is in progress but background check hasn't started yet for her file and they dont have any ETA yet. My mother's application was filed in August 2018 and we are pushing our MP (who's very responsive) to have this application wrapped up as soon as possible.

That medical survelliance letter you have mentioned earlier is for the process after your parents land here in Canada. If they are here in Canada already, IRCC will start monitoring after virtual landing.

yes, my mom is in Canada for the last 4+years.

I have wasted more than a month waiting for CIC to update my mom's ME results, turns out it is me didn't upload the receipt.

No, it's not completed yet. You should scroll to the bottom of the page, click "next" and sign it electronically. Then the file would be submitted. And in the column of details would show as "Replacement Provided".

Does anyone know, if a medical done for visitor visa extension application, would be good of PGP 2019 application as well? My parents have received a letter to get their medical done for visa extension application, and I expect them to receive bio and med letter for their PR application too, would be redundant if they are to do medicals again in near future

Thank you @laxsun. We had received biometric request along with other requirements (PCC, resume, travel form etc) in Nov 2020 but never received a separate biometrics instruction letter. However, we had to get her biometrics done for visitor visa extension and saw that same details were later updated in PR application too. Her biometrics date is Dec 15, 2020

Not sure what is the country of your parents' citizenship.
