Good news - Update for line 596 Mom_me

@YULIA-2016 @robertp @laxsun @serious_cheese

Biometrics – delete date – we did not receive this request, and its been waived

I did a MP follow up in February, and I was told that decision was made on Feb 12, and that it may take time before we get official confirmation from IRCC. Also, her medical had just expired, but we did not know whether they will extend the medical or ask for a retest.

Finally, Virtual/phone landing interview call received on March 27, and within minutes a letter from IRCC congratulating and confirming PR - and next steps. The letter has CoPR number.

Note mom is already in Canada as a visitor

I am not sure if this letter the final letter or do I have to wait for CoPR document??

Hi,

I was wondering if you could share the details of the contents for the letter you wrote to MP. I have been patiently waiting but just last week, CIC sent out a letter (to almost everyone I believe) indicating that it might take longer.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I have appointment for my parents on april 02, in Calgary.
As per Alberta Health services, visitors who are living in Canada for last 3 months or have plans to stay for 3 months or more, they can get the vaccine by showing proof of age such as passport.
My mother in law is on super visa and she got her first dose yesterday. Its free for visitors too.

Please wait for the COPR as it is needed for your mom in future.
Do you know "In Process" date for your case as per ecas.

It is better to call or meet your MP in person. They are your representatives and are mostly open to see the person from their constituencies.

Hello just curious about parents that got approved while they are in Canada. Will they actually still have to submit their passports or will go through the famous "Virtual Landing". Thanks!
