My parents just received their COPR in Dec 2020, does it mean they still can not land? Hiw about the reSon of reuniting with extended family who are canadian citizen/permanent residence in Canada? So confusing,please advise. Thank you

I received passport request on 11/03/2021.

Before this we had to go for re-medical in Jan 2021

Again some additional tests for wife on 06 feb
(I don,t know why additional tests, perhaps she is taking BP and Sugar control tablets)..

Finally remedical passed on 17 feb 2021

No travel/itinerary plan and quarantine/self-isolation plan asked in the letter.. only passport along with photographs..

You should check biometric status in gckey account. It shows not required or passed then biometric already done for visitor visa is accepted.

Any new updates anyone receive for June 17 or close by applicants? Mine is still stuck at application received not even eligibility for sponsor started.

The two are different - approved and decision made. Once decision made shows on ecas means the process is over which follows PPR if applicant VO is out of Canada and then COPR. There are multiple ways to receive COPR. In case VO is CPC-MISSISSAUGA the after decision made directly COPR or Virtual landing. Normally COPR is through email now a days though earlier after virtual landing it was through mail ( hard copy)
Decision made or PPR does not reflect in Gckey account.
If parents are not in Canada then after PPR once you submit your passports then COPR ( hard copy) and immigrant visa in passport will come together.

May 2019, both SA and PA are in-progress since Aug 2019. Have you requested GCMS notes to check what was their last action on the file?

Parents can still come. This restriction does not apply to them.

Yes they can travel and documents to board the flight is required - copy of your Canadian status ( PR / Citizenship) and your birth certificate as proof of relationship. Plan for quarantine after 3 days stay at hotel and hotel booking for 3 days. Covid-19 test ( negative report) within 72 hours of travel. ArriveCan app to be downloaded in mobile.
