Thanks for sharing. Few more questions--Did you also provide your birth certificate or other documents as relationship proof, and also financial support proof? As my PR card was sent for renewal, we also got extended family authorization letter from IRCC for them as grandparents. So we have two proofs now immediate and extended family for travel.
No, i have not provided my birth certificate. may be he is visiting me third time. but yes for extended family you must required a Approval letter from IRCC as i got it for my brother-in-law for travelling here. also do get a medical insurance for your parents if they are coming on visitor visa, sometime the office may ask for it.

that it is ready for processing ,process when in queue which god knows when it will be. My mother recently got a bone fractured. I feel so helpless as can't even go there or get her here.
Did you check background checks section to find any reason for delay , I sent you pm , check it

It means PA eligibility is passed. Next they will be doing background check. Good luck
I recived the letter too but nvr got medical request yet but did get pcc request

anyone went through the landing after Feb 22, how was the experience in relation to booking hotel for Quarantine & Covid Test? wanna know the prices for two people

What an absurd answer. If you don't have the knowledge please refrain from mocking others.
I may not have communicated what I was trying to say well enough, but in no way was I trying to mock anyone. All I meant to say was that the processing of most applications is extremely slow, so if there is any update; it means there is some movement and the application is being processed, and which is a positive sign. I hope @Amath03 did not take it the way you did.

Wondering if there is anyone waiting like me. My parents did their biometrics in Dec 2019 and it passed. Since then no update, no medical request nothing! it is really sad, anyone in the same situation

Also, does doing upfront medical help here? Thinking about asking my parents to do upfront medicals if that would fasten the process.
Same here. Biometrics Dec 2019 and pin drop silence since then.

Dont worry, I didnt take it that way. For some users, receiving the pre-arrival services letter is a positive sign and for others, they receive it quite early and isnt an indicator of movement of the file. People are stressed and frustrated and a bit on the edge these days I guess.
