Hey all, long time no see!
I am sure somebody else asked but I'd appreciate if someone could reassure me..

My mom is here on a Super Visa that expired in October (she never got 10 years because her passport expired before then) I have applied for a new visitor visa back in May but it is stuck on biometrics as we can't get it done for obvious reasons.

We are fine, right - implied status or whatever? It is what it is and we have to wait until they start doing biometrics in Canada again? https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio.../services/coronavirus-covid19/biometrics.html

I know the answer, just looking for reassurance here my PGP is stuck in CPC-Mexico since September 2019.

We are in the same situation. I just got my extended visa approved till March 2021 and my husband is under implied status awaiting for approval. Also awaiting for Service Canada call for biometrics for our PR applications in process and not sure if our names are under the calling list. There is really nothing we can do but wait

Even parents are in Canada on tourist/super visa all applications are considered OUTLAND...

They are not but my post is not about the term definitions. Can applications of parents not residing in Canada be processed by CPC-M?

Guys quick question I'm sending application for PR card express with Canada Post should we do it with signature required as sometime CIC office so not accept signature required envelopes.

yes, my grandparents are not in Canada and are being processed by CPC-M

No, is all random on which LVO being assigned. We hv been in Canada since we submitted the applications but our applications are transferred to Singapore LVO. Few principle applicants are residing overseas but their files are assigned to CPC Mississauga.

I‘m under the eTA visa (visa free exempted countries) and biometric is not needed so is my husband.

June 7 2019. My mom did her pcc, biometrics and medical by jan 2020 first week.nothing since then.they got all additional docs too. Not sure what's happening. I can see in ecas as application in process for applicant, sponsor application was approved. I can't link into mycic so am stuck

And which is your Visa office ?

My application was in process since Jan 23. Still stuck with social checks. Reached out to MP but not able to help.

Anyone here on the same boat? Application date received Jun 14 2019.

I am also from AB and feel that my application is stuck , Sponsor is DM but PA still application received. 14 June applicant and bio done in Feb , nothing since then . With NDVO.

I feel that AB applicants are processing very slow for some reason

I've usually received an email stating that they confirm receipt of the following document (references the title of the document) and that the information has been forwarded to the responsible office for their consideration.

so strange that I submitted 2 times (different docs) but no response. I have also sent the required documents to the email address that you provided with the letter, hopefully, that will work.

If VO asks for document, you can either submit via webform or email address (or even mail), once they received, you should see following message in your mycic account.

• The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.

approx how many days it takes for this message to appear after you send the docs?

I provided additional docs (passport copies, CV, PCC etc) in Dec 2019, no such update till now.

I don't see update anywhere for those docs after I sent to them on Oct. 2019. But you can ask if they actually received by webform or phone.
