Forum members your advice highly appreciated on these concerns I have !
May 29th application
Stuck in process for PA

1. I am renewing the visitors record - but medical expires on Dec 16th ...

Will I get request to redo it again ?
And can I write to them to extend validity as PR application is under process!

What are the chances they will extend

2. In visitors record we have a letter that says biometrics not needed as completed on Dec 4th ( which is the first time my mother did biometrics for her PR application)

Yet they keep requesting biometrics letter .
Cic agent also says biometrics received.
So why case officer would resend it again !!!!

Hello, first time asking questions in this thread so forgive me if the answer is too obvious. We submitted the application for my wife's parents in May 29th, 2019 but we're still waiting for the final decision. Is this normal? The medical results had been reviewed in Nov 12, 2019 and no updates since then. I also ordered GCMS notes a month ago but didn't get any updates from them other than the payment confirmation. Any suggestion how to find out more about the application? And what should I do for the expiring medical exam date?

for 2019 PGP sponsorship who ever is still waiting, What is the financial income we need to maintain for the year 2020? Do we still have to add 30% to minimum necessary income or we can use the new reduced minimum necessary income for 2020 ? As there is a possibility they might reaccess the income before issuing the PR to our parents / grandparents.

Hello, I saw many of you mentioned that you got a call from CIC. From which number did you get the call?

My gcms notes say File Location: PIL .... Does anyone know what it means?
Last note on October 2nd on the file by case officer shows everything is completed .... Not sure whats holding up.

Did they ask you for biometrics yet

That's true! I contacted my MP last year and they only responded to him that CIC was waiting for my social assistance clearance from the province! They get the response from the province in January 2020 but did nothing about it. My MP contacted them last week again to follow up and it seems that they took my application out of the drawer! It's funny that they don't respond to any of my inquiries and only do something when MP asks for updates...

There will be no 30% addition to LICO
Income required for the 3 tax years right before the day you apply (sponsors applying in 2021)

Hello everyone,
My mom received a letter today to provide Biometrics, however she is visting my Brother in Doha - Qatar ( her country of birth and citizenship is Lebanon , that's what we applied for when we submitted her application )
Can she still provide Biometrics at a VFS center in Doha - Qatar or she must do it when she returns back to Lebanon ?
I highly appreciate an accurate and fast response.

Yes, she can. Just book the appointment and take the request letter there that is not location specific.

Medical will expire in one year after passing date that is seen in MyCIC. I heard some people got extension for six months but some got request to redo.
