Yes they can do quarantine at home as long as you maintain social distancing on safer side and in other scenario you also have to be in quarantine for 14 days?

We both have jobs so means if they stay home in separate room we also can’t go to work for 14 days.

@RAY2112 : If you received this after sending you dad's IMM5562 with filling mom's travel history on the same form, you may have to do it as requested.

Most of us sent only one IMM5562 for principal applicant and all dependents. If the case officer asks you to do individual forms for PA and dependents, you may not have other choices. However isn't that a simply filling out one more form.

No I did not uploaded or sent. I am waiting for other documents to be finished and send them all.
@luxan from the answer that I got, what do you understand? are they asking me to fill one IM5562 for my dad as main applicant + mom as dependent and another one for my mom as main applicant and put my dad as dependent. That where I am confused on.

I applied for my mom 2019 parents sponsorship, done medical 2 weeks ago and cic updated medical received
BUT Yesterday I got An email From MHB MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE NOTICE , Because in Medical IME report TB Symptoms Comes up but TB is not there according to doctor and report, But now Public Health authority wants to double check everything for TB. She already done INDIA PCC and Medical 2 weeks Ago but still Waiting for Bio-metrics Request.
My question is what is all about MEDICAL SURVEILLANCE NOTICE, Anybody know if we get this request there are chances of refusal or will cic delay the process of PR and bio-metric? Please help me with these question as i never knew about it PLEASE RESPOND. VISA OFFICE NEW DELHI

It is nothing to worry about.
Thats a normal procedure. They do it for people who have had histroy of TB or show some abnormalities on xrays.
You will have to contact the public health authorities when the applicant comes to Canada, and if already in Canada, then you should contact them now.
They will do few more tests such as another xrays, sputum test.

Yeah... we got so excited when we received the email about a new message, and then.... Long process indeed!

So your parents' medical was passed on Oct 16, 2019 and they are requesting again. Better to wait few days if they send for dependents too.

Yes! Received the request for dependent yesterday. And yep, they passed medical in Oct 2019, but I guess the validity is 1 year, so makes sense to get requested again I suppose...

When was the first medical done?

Done in Oct 16, 2019.

I am not sure how it works when parents are already in Canada.
In my experience, my mom came here on super visa and the next day I called the public health authorities and then they booked her appointment.
I would say its better to call rather than waiting or maybe if someone else had similar experience if they could share the details with you.

Hello, I have a PR application for my mom under PGP intake of 2019, is it possible to apply for a tourist visa or a SuperVisa for her to come visit me while we wait for the approval of her PR application? I had a baby after we applied and would like to invite her to Canada to spend time with us and for baby's baptism. She is retired, so no job to go back to, but she has her house. thanks!

Yes, you can apply for visitor/super visa. I did same for my parents. I would suggest to go for super visa instead of visitor visa, at least you are better off for 2 years if she is stuck. For me, I had to renew their visitor status due to pandemic and might have to do it again if PR not received!!
