Yeah that's what I am finding difference is that Jana in this case is not aware about this process but in your case they sent it directly to IRCC.
If you don't mind me asking. Were your file stuck "In Process" too at SA stage ?
Do you know the contact number you have used in the past to get things moving further ?

I apologize about the questions and back&forth. I just want to get my file progress further

Nothing you can do to make your case be processed faster. When CIC receives the proof that you have not received social assistance then your file keeps on being processed.

Unfortunately I never got the contact number of that person.
I got my MLA to reach out to SS and from there the things worked.
I was stuck in process for sponsor application from August 08 until Jan 26.

If this letter is not the one that Ayaan got, then try to get in touch with “jkalan” here in the forum, he also has contact number from SS.
But first wait for this letter and confirm with ayaan if its the same he has got, then you should be good from there.

I understand that they have their own timelines and pace of doing things.

I can't control how they move the files and I am not expecting them to move faster for me, but I can only do things that can help my SA approval goes first. Which it seems is stuck at the point of "In Process" for past 2 months.

that's why I just wanted to know the timelines and different stages @calgary17 and @ayaan2019 had.

Okay.

Thank you @calgary17 for all the help.

I really appreciate it.

Would mention that MLAs are very busy with the covid situation so their offices are also likely very busy. Would try to sort out the issue yourselves before bothering your MLA. It is likely to be sorted out faster if you can do it on your own since clearly the covid situation is a higher priority..

Yeah that's true as well. Given the situation my matter would be pretty much on low priority for sure

I never advised him to go the MLA. He has already contacted someone in SS and I asked him to wait for that.

woow thats great. which means i should get the request soon now.
When did you receive the request to submit PCC? How about medical request?

Hey buddy,

I did not get the request. I got it done preemptively meaning on my own.

I just did it because of confusion when I tried to schedule appointment for the PCC. Anyway, one can do it but not necessary. Not sure how long will it take, but looking at the history from other NDVO candidates, I think it may take another month before we get the request for PCC and medical.

Cheers
