Hi,

I have a quick question for passport re-issue from India. My mom dad's passports are expiring by the end of the year. I have applied for their application online for "tatkaal" at passport seva. For payment, they are just asking for Rs.1500 upfront which is the regular application fee, and they mentioned based on our urgency, they will decide whether they are eligible for tatkaal processing or not, and they will charge (additional Rs.2000 for tatkaal) accordingly.

Now my question is - Do they need to take any proof or something as a supporting document for their application to be processed under tatkaal scheme ? If yes, what can be a good supporting document ? Is it concerning if we disclose the PR file to them ?

So far they have just received a Biometric request. But I am quite hopeful for PCC and IME request anytime soon.

Anyone with a similar case/experience ?

Thanks.

Hi all,
Do they confirm or send any acknowledgment, when we email them documents for travel history/ Country specific requirements /PCC?
Should I send them hard copies for the above too?

1. Wait for SA letter. You don’t know yet Which VO assign. CPC-M will send you medical fastest then other VO.
2. you don’t need to apply for tatkaal PP. if your VO is CPC-M you will get medical within 1 month . Do medical and then apply for new passport.
3. Timeline to renew PP 3-4 week max.

The jurisdictional passport office has the final say for issuance of passports under this scheme. This would depend on the urgency coupled with other compelling factors of the applicant.

I have linked my application with my account and they asked me to upload my fathers work history. However, there is no link to upload the document inside my application module. What should I do? I have emailed London High Commission the work history and explained them the situation

Guys, do you have the progress bar in your CIC account? I don’t see mine for a few weeks time already

Continue your tatkaal process. You already complete process .Appointment is last step for PP renewal.
Que: Do they need to take any proof or something as a supporting document for their application to be processed under tatkaal scheme ?
Appointment time bring your AoR letter from CIC (in your case that is the latest letter from CIC) and ask them you Will get PCC and Medical request soon .

Did you get email about file transfer to your local visa office ? I got bio request but no mention about file transfer or sponsorship approved.

I have received a request in mail for Police clearance certificate, it says, "provide an original police clearance certificate".
but later in the same email they say, " Please upload these documents to your online account only. Please do not submit physical documents via mail. "
so do they mean to say, scan the original and send it to them
