I see most on the list who was asked for additional document has also received AOR on or even before the date of additional document requested. I don’t think I have received AOR - unless I am misinterpreting, is there any correlation between the 2?

• Always check country specific requirements before submitting your application.
• For some countries, originals of certain documents are required. In these cases, you must submit the original and not a copy. If you do not submit original documents when required, your application will be returned as incomplete.
• Don’t use staples, binders, plastic sleeves, folders or albums to submit your application. Elastic bands for photos or paper clips are acceptable."

In sending to CIC by email the requested PCC, CVs, PP copies, and Travel form, how strictly do they enforce the 5 MB limit? Would something like 5.7 MB be acceptable?

Hi all:

When I applied for the application, I included only my mother as the principal applicant. My father was a spouse dependant but at that time he didn't want to come with my mother. Now things have changed and i need to include him in the application as someone who will accompany my mother. The good thing they both did the medical and police clearance (Dec 11). My father needs just to do biometrics and i need to pay the fees.

I need to act fast before the application gets approved for my mother only. Please let me know the best way to proceed and share with me your experience if you or someone you know encountered similar situation.

Good point. Was her medical redone? Very weird that they only asked for repeat sputum and chest x-ray he year later and not full medical.

@robertp and @YULIA-2016 ,,, please update my status in tracker as received Biometric request on 4 feb and Medical on 5th feb. Bio updated on ecas on 6th Feb. Medical done on 7th, SA received on 13th Feb.

Contact CIC via webform saying you would like to change your father to accompanying.

I was requested additional documents (CV) on Dec 3, uploaded the same day. Till today MyCIC was showing 'your action is required'. Today it has changed to 'your profile has been updated'.

Recieve Letter to submit police certificate from the age of 18, do we also need to get it from Canada if stay is more than 6 months here
And Also if PCC's are 5 months old, Can we still submit those ones.

Hi All, my application for sponsoring my mother was received on June 10, 2019 and AoR date is Oct 23, 2019. I applied through an agent and all the communications are directed to the agent. I got a call last week that my sponsorship has been approved and my file has been transferred to CPC Mississauga. I still don't understand it fully. Does that mean that I should expect Biometric / Medical requests soon?
