Hey guys, I have a question. I'm kinda clueless as to what is going on with my application to sponsor my parents right now.

They got Biometrics and Medical request on Dec 19th, and I got them to do both. However, when I put my UCI on ECAS, it only says "medical received" and nothing about the Biometrics.

Additionally, I received a letter from CIC asking for Biometrics, PCC, Resume, Country Specific Requirements, Passport scans, etc. I have collected all the documents now and was going to send it to the given email address, but I am not sure why they asked for Biometrics in this document. My parents didn't receive a Biometrics document, just a receipt when they did theirs. Am I supposed to attach that?

Any guidance would be helpful, thanks in advance.
The letter from CIC is generic for all. Just explain in your email/webform that bio is completed on XXX date based on the request letter on Dec 19th. and attach the rest of the documents.

Also if you make a myCIC account, it will show the bio and expiary date of 10 years for bio there. It will not show on ECAS.

That's crazy. Is she in St Lucia? That LVO transfer makes no sense
I was so disappointed when I saw that visa office on the SA letter. I really thought it would have been CPC Mississauga since she has been here on Supervisa for 2 previous years, then left for a month then came back and was here at the time of submitting the application and has been here since. We even put Ottawa address as hers but still, it went to Mexico. And nothing seems to be moving out of that office from what I see on the tracker.

Hi All Quick Question. My parents will be coming here in Feb to Canada. Do I need to inform CIC that they will be here for next process?

Lawd man. Hopefully it moves soon. If it's any consolation my mother's application was sent to one LVO then moved to a closer one and took just 8.5 months. It's quite possible that they may reroute it. *Fingers crossed*

Yes, I noticed your file, you were one of the lucky ones. Congratulations! Hopefully there will be some movement on mine soon :-) But all in all I'm just glad we got in, since things are uncertain for this year.

Thanks for the reply.

You mentioned "Application Received : June 07, 2019"
Did you mean you checked the tracking number of the Mailing service you used to mail the package?

or IRCC sent you a notification that they received your application?

Sorry, I'm new to this forum. This may be a silly question to ask.

Yes at first I tracked the package delivery however later when I logged on to online case status portal after I received the AOR, appliation received date there was June 07,2019 as well.

Hello! I am planning to do the Landing soon.
  • Would you have any tips for the Lading process?
  • Did anybody land in Niagara or Buffalo or any U.S. border city?
  • Did you take only Co-PR, Passport and Photos or something more?
Thank you so much! :)
