Does address on Bio-medical request letter indicate visa office. If the address on Bio-medical request is Canadian, does this mean the VO will be Mississauga ? (SA letter not received yet). Thanks

I submitted the application from Canada but i was a representative for them so all the correspondence has come to me here. Right now, their correspondence address is still in London but i could change that through a webform whilst they are staying with me in Canada. Currently, the application is in Mississauga and i've been told by a couple of others that because they are UK citizens, they would only need to submit photocopies of their passports and not the passports themselves. I did also apply for a supervisa but it seems like the london office is taking a LONG time processing anything. My parents have completed their biometrics on both the super visa and the PGP 2019 and they gave completed their medicals and submitted their metropolitan police checks and CV's so it can't be much more to do now.
Just a detour question here Rob.Since you mentioned you were the representative for your parents could you activate the my cic for them .My son trying all combinations but not successful.Could it be because he is our representative. All our correspondence is addressed to him

Hi All,
I have a few questions related to Parental Sponsorship.

1. We have submitted the application through a consultant. I understand that all the communication is routed through the consultant. I tried to link the application to an online account but the system is giving a message "application not found". Is it because that CIC will directly send the communication to the consultant only and I cannot view the same because of my initial selection?

2. My mother is above 79 years old. I read somewhere that biometrics will not be required for people above 79 years old. Can somebody confirm?

3. What about Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) ? My mother is staying with me in Canada for the last 6 years on a visitor visa most of the time. Will she be required to go back to India for applying for PCC?

Thanks a lot in advance for providing the clarification.

Hey @robertp please update dm for Sa today.

I didn't get SA email yesterday with everyone else here . Not sure why:)

Congrats to you! We are stuck in the same situation, in which my husband sponsored me back in 2017 and he is the co-sponsor for my parents' application. We live in Alberta and I guess IRCC is still confirming my and husband's provincial social assistance. Would you recommend us to call the province like what you did with your parents' application? It does seem to speed up the process. Did your MP also help out? TIA!
