DM for PA est Dec 3rd, (Not sure, I did not check ECAS for a week)

Biometrics fee refunded, not sure why. She is back home and never had biometrics before. But she was here on a visit visa when we submitted her application.

Just wondering how did you find out Biometrics fee was refunded? Just checked your credit card? I checked my credit card, nothing shows up yet. Just wanted to find out if CIC kindly refund mine or not.

No one can beat London visa office, they are currently working on 2018 2nd round PGP applications.

I have my mom’s COPR already and she wasn’t required to do biometric. I even paid 87$ and they returned it to my credit card. But now, they just released the new update on Dec 3 that everybody is required now to do the biometric even if the applicant is here in Canada. Since we just have to cross the border or ask an appointment in iRCC office, do we still need to ask for biometric appointment in designated Service Canada offices?

Nov 19 and return tracker is not activated yet . So minimum 3 weeks you can assume

I had RCMP Fingerprints done on Nov.5 and Ghost Update Nov. 26 and E-case updated to started processing on Nov. 27. Yesterday I got Biometrics Fee Refund @YULIA-2016 @robertp

I did RCMP on nov 13 , Cic got results nov 24 . No update after that .

Context and background:

• Ecase shows sponsorship and PR application both in Process
• CIC account was linked a few weeks ago
• Via CIC account - Today Received Biometrics Request for PA and Dependents (spouse and a child)
  • Child (dependent) is studying in a different city than the city with biometric, medical, police clearance services (capital city)
  • The child has to travel every time (takes typically a day) to the capital city

Question:

• Do CIC only send Medical and Police Clearance request only after getting biometrics from applicants?
• Is it worth to wait to do Medical, Police Clearance and Biometric all at once?
  • Or, is it ok to do upfront Medical and Police Clearance when the dependent comes for Biometric?

Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
