Hello all Seniors and friends,

I received an email from CIC-CPC Mississauga.. It lists a few documents to sponsor my parents.

There are three documents I am really confused.

1. Does any one know what is country specific requirement? This is attached link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp
We are from China (People’s Republic of), based on the instruction, it mentions no extra forms for this country. So we don't need submit any additional forms?

2. Can anyone kindly share a format of CV/Resume?

3. CIC also reuqest a IMM 5562 to show all travel history. My parents travelled a lot in past 10 years. There is no enough room to put everything. We can attached additional sheets?

Thank you so much. Appreciate your help.

Jason

I did the biometrics for my Mom here in Regina today. She was out of Canada when we applied. We received the same generic e-mail about not giving biometrics at PoE (on Dec 2) and were preparing to drive to the nearest ASC in Fargo (9 hours drive each way) on 16th. But then I saw this forum in the morning today, made an online appointment and had the biometrics done by the afternoon. The new Service Canada location saved us a trip to the US. So TLDR: if you are in Canada, you can give your biometrics at Service Canada locations by appointment - regardless of where you applied.
We were also preparing to go to Buffalo on 13th Dec ....will try to secure appointment in Toronto now.
Will save US trip and border crossing tensions !!!

Hi! Can someone guide me please what next to do after receiving an email saying "Your application has been accepted under the intake cap for 2019."
How to create ecas account and view status of application?
Do I have to sign the IMM5476 application? If I do how do I submit it?

Kindly advise me on the next steps and what should I do?:):):)

submit as soon as possible:
 Passport/Travel Document: Your relative must submit a copy of their passport. If your
relative's passport has expired or will expire within the next 12 months, please have them apply
for and submit a copy of their new passport with a validity of 12 months or more. Please ensure
to include all pages of the passport.
 Biometrics (if applicable): On July 31st, 2018, biometrics became a requirement for some
IRCC applicants. If your relatives are required to complete biometrics, they would have received
a request for fees and an instruction letter with details on how to submit biometrics. If they have
yet to submit biometrics, they should do so immediately.
Biometrics requirements can be found on our website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/biometrics.asp
 Police Certificate: For the principal applicant and dependant spouse (if applicable), please
provide police certificates from:
 The country where they currently live; and
 Any country they have lived for six months or more (if applicable).
Your relative is required to obtain the police certificate from that country's law enforcement
authorities. Please send a copy of the original police certificate to this office as soon as they
receive it.
Instructions to obtain Police Certificates can be found on our website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp.
 Country Specific Requirements: Please refer to the country specific requirements listed for
spouses, as these documents are applicable to parents and grandparents.
Country specific requirements can be found on our website:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/spouse.asp
 Supplementary Information - Your Travels (IMM 5562): The principal applicant and all family
members included in the application who are 18 years of age or older must complete this form.
 Details of Military Service - IMM 5546 (if applicable): Complete this form for anyone included
on the application who has ever held a high ranking/senior official government position or
served in the military, army, defence or police unit, (including National Service), and submit a
copy of the military card/booklet, including blank pages, if applicable.
 CV/Resume: Please provide a CV/Resume for the principal applicant and dependent spouse (if
applicable) detailing education and employment information from the age of 18.

In order to facilitate faster processing, please send these documents by email to:
IRCC.CPCMParentsandGrandparents-Parentsetgrands-parentsCTDM.IRCC@cic.gc.ca

**Please include 'PGP-APR' in the subject line of the email**

Should you choose to submit by mail, please include a copy of this letter with your correspondence
