Latest update: We received the passport and COPR delivered from the Mississauga office on Friday . We left on the very same day to complete the landing formalities at the Thousand Islands bridge in Kingston. We were done with the flag polling in less than an hour . Now my mother is the PR of Canada . Thanks for all the support . And special thanks to @robertp and @YULIA-2016 for all their efforts in the tracking sheet up to date.

Hi Guys - need expert opinion:

File submitted June 7th, and additional documents submitted on October 3rd. I still have not received my AOR (and/or the file #) from CIC.
I see a lot of people nearing the end of their process (which is great for them) but I have not even heard about whether my sponsorship has been approved or not.

Anyone else in the same boat? What to expect going forward? Thoughts?
Please reply as it is tough to follow the 2k+ pages to find similar cases

Thanks!!

@robertp Line in tracker:186, Ottawa receiving date 10 May, LVO- Mississauga. Emailed all addl required docs on 02 October. My parents have been in Canada since Aug on VV.

I just received an email from PGP-Mississauga that my file has been transferred to New Delhi for further processing.

I was hoping for DM and PPR but at this late stage my file has been transferred to NDVO? Anyone knows probable reasons?
Is there anyone else with similar timelines and file transferred to LVO/NDVO?

congrats @Chinkoo ..Did your mother already had US visa? How does the flagpole work if your parents do not have US visa and you have to accompany them to the US (as interpreter) ? Does your parents as well as you also get administrative denial from US ?

Yes , she has a valid US visa . I did accompany her for flag polling and yes , I have a US visa too. Both of us were given a administrative denial from US which clearly mentioned that it was for flag polling. I am not sure if it would work if the parents did not have a US visa.

Hi All,

I am anticipating PCC request in next 2-3 months. My parents are here with me in Canada but will be travelling to India in January 2020. I am planning to get the PCC from BLS here in Canada and would send it to CIC hopefully March when requested. Is it fine to take PCC from BLS Canada then parents move to India, later apply the same PCC when requested?
