Agreed. they will HAVE to pay taxes thereafter. I declared my US car at the Niagara border but actually imported it 3 years later. they asked for the Import document that stated my car's value but it also said no taxes applicable. the lady at the border mentioned I would've paid taxes if it wasn't mentioned in the document.

Its: Sponsor [+co sponsor if applicable] DO NOT INCLUDE KIDS + [PA + DEPENDENT]

not sure if that is right but I think you will have to add ALL family members in Canada; say Husband, wife and a kid and then PA and dependent. so, 3+2 = 5 .. (I may be wrong)

It's normal. It will show submitted for a very long time (from time to time it will change to Profile Update).

AoR will come in the next batch.

Thanks, my mother's bio-metric are valid till 2028 and it shows on top right corner. so i believe i will get the refund of the fee i submitted ?

What was the orginal Medical date for your Dad?? and after how many days you got furtherance , in Ecas whats the status showing for medical

How to declare assets belonged to PA during landing to avoid taxes later on when parents will actually sell their property later on? Could someone tell in more detail?

No. Kids doesn't come in this calculation.

If he is a co-sponsor for his in-laws, the correct no. would be 4. The cic profile may not be activated yet for it to be linked, which usually takes a day after ecas got activated.

Congrats !! what ID you used to check ecas ? Jun 19th submission and still no news...

Hello Members,

I have a small query, I submitted my parents sponsorship app on May 30th, AOR was received on Sept 16th. Last week i received another AOR from London Visa office but i haven't received any SA approval letter or decision made in ECAS. I called CIC today and the agent said SA and PR processing are independent which i really don't understand.

Is there anyone else in the forum who is in a similar situation? Following are the my details.

Sponsored People: Parents
Parents Country of Citizenship: India
Parents Country of Residence: UAE
Sponsor Province: Ontario
Invitations Receive Date: April 25, 2019
Application received in Ottawa Date: May 30th, 2019
AoR Received (DATE): September 16th, 2019
Ecas Status for Sponsorship appl. and PR appl.: Ecas Available and linked account on September 18th, 2019

SA Letter:
