I got same request and submitted documents on Tuesday and so far nothing, when did you submitted

i got same request And submitted yesterday. Today my cic changed to additional documents have been uploaded. How about yours. And also my progress bar disappear this evening.

and how many days they give you to respond? I only got 15 days and in red bold letters “THIS IS A FINAL NOTICE” Scared me a little bit. Lol

If your application is linked with the cic account of primary applicant, you can try updating the email address on account information section.

i did update it but because im the representative request goes to my emAil and not applicant

Hahahah same thing happened to me I was scared a bit to with that red bold letters but I got 30 days to respond but I don’t access to cic account as I couldn’t link my file don’t know y as everyone else can, but I can track my app online but nothing is there

Thank you: in your case was the correspondence for the sponsor or principal applicant?

I asked the agent and she confirmed that the correspondence to sponsor will be via email (preferred method in most cases, if not then via mail).
Correspondence to Principal Applicant will be via MyCIC if you have linked your application.

Just to provide an update: i called CIC again and the agent provided me details about the letter, it was addressed to sponsor asking for the proof of relationship with principal applicant. They are asking for birth certificate.

I wonder why they are asking again for relationship proofs when we already provided BCs, affidavits etc with the application.

I have no idea, but looks like a lot of people got it.

In my case they asked for birth certificate of sponsor which i already provided with the original application. However, i submitted thee notorized translated copy in english and not the original , that could be the reason why.

Got the PPR today, strange they sent it to sponsors email address. But doesn't matter, very happy today!

@kinetic2214 Congratulations by the way. And I also see in your case too it took only like about 6 months ? Is that correct ?

Yes it took around 6 months. But DM with PPR could be considered as positive decision. However actual residency starts from the day of landing.

Wondering if anyone can help / clarify. IMM 5406e is to filled out by my mother-in-law (who we are sponsoring), my wife (who is the sponsor) and my borther-in-law as they are her children? Is this true even if they are in their late 30s / 40s and not "dependent" on my mother-in-law?

Yes. U r right. As per agent, they sent document request via myCIC and which I never received. He told me that if u need the letter contact technical team but u can upload requested document via webform cause u don't need letter now as I told u what is requested.
I don't know if they fixed it later or what. I did get AOR from my LVO after sponsorship approval email from CPC-M
