Eventhough I am short by only $300?

I know someone who were short by $150 for the 1st year... the following 2 years they were more than double the required amount for those years, but their case still got rejected.

They follow the rule of income pretty strictly.

Thank you, that’s good to know. We are application received on 4th June, but we are booked to go to Canada for Christmas on 13th December so we’re panicking a bit now that we will get the bio request
Yeah, thats the frustrating part. My parents are ready and waiting to come and we have completed all the document requests but have been waiting on the DM for the last three weeks now.

@trivchintan , don't worry use this link to contact them through the WebForm, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp , I have done it last week and today unfortunately, I received an email that the data do not match what they have on file, it seems like code 19 but I did re-send them the message today throught the webform asking them to grant us time as we did not receive any letter or message into the MyCIC account or by email.
I wish you the best of luck and don't worry, the file won't be closed because of technical difficulties :) but you must hurry up and message them.
Good day !

Thank you: in your case was the correspondence for the sponsor or principal applicant?

I asked the agent and she confirmed that the correspondence to sponsor will be via email (preferred method in most cases, if not then via mail).
Correspondence to Principal Applicant will be via MyCIC if you have linked your application.

Just to provide an update: i called CIC again and the agent provided me details about the letter, it was addressed to sponsor asking for the proof of relationship with principal applicant. They are asking for birth certificate.

I had the same problem and I submitted the requested document via webform and they sent it to concerned department in weeks time. I didn't even bother to ask for that original letter. And the concerned officer got my additional documents within 7 business days and my sponsorship file got approved after another 20days.

when your sponsorship got accepted did you receive the confirmation letter via email?

Hi guys, just curious if there is any theory on how the local visa office is chosen for an application?

A friend of mine whose parents still live in Southeast East Asian has Mississauga as processing office. I thought the location is chosen based on the address of our parents?

I
I submitted yesterday via E-Mail. What all did you submit as proof as I could not find anything with my Mother's name on it except for the cancelled Indian Passport, which luckily had the complete names of both parents.
submitted my grade 10 and 12 certificate it has both my parents name on it

Just thinking how mississauga agents or visa officers can work fast and look and process files which they received after sponsor DM, but rest of the other country visa officers have no time to look into files and files are in queue to be viewed by a visa officer.

Eventhough I am short by only $300?

I have found in the tracker/tab some links:
It’s too late for 2018, but anybody who doesn’t have enough income to meet the low income cutoff can cash in their RRSP’s. It counts as income. We did it for all 3 years and we were approved as a sponsor. This is the reason we only sent in our SIN instead of the NOA. Remember you must do this before the year end.
