Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Called the CIC regarding my file and asked how long it will take to get sponsorship approve? There answer was There is no specific timeline for sponsorship side, the whole application take up to 24 months. There is no clear answer from CIC agent how long it will take to get sponsorship approve in my case as well as similar with others who are in the same situation.

few got Bio/ PCC/ IME but SA ecas stil In process.

Hi - may I ask a general question

are our cases assigned to specific officer at the beginning and then this specific officer will review all the following materials once provided?

what is the general processing practice - every morning the officer will start from the earliest received case and see if requested materials are submitted? and then go through all the cases assigned to her or him?

anyone who has insight please share, thank you.

Generally yes, your file will be reviewed by the single CO.

I believe their system have a to do sequence based on the date and they go by them. It's still a human process (skill, pace etc.) and that affect the processing speed.

Hey guys need an advice on timeline. I had sent out my file on june 7and i got ecas for that on 1st week of October. I am still not able to link in my application on my cic. Is that normal for the application received status on ecas but not being able to link on my cic? I haven't gotten any requests either for any kind of docs. Will appreciate any response. Thnx
