For the gcms notes, Can someone please share their experience?

1. In the enquirer part, the category that best describes you: What do i select there?
2. What do we select in the act? Privacy act or Access to Information act?
3. When we provide PA’s info, what type of record would you like to apply for? - Permanent residence?

3- yes permanent residence application. If u r still stuck at sponsorship stage then for next question select sponsorship file.

My first post in this thread, Kudos to all who are contributing here. please add me to the excel database. I submitted application for my mother in law. Below is the application details.

• Line # in tracker: if applicable
• Sponsored People: 1
• Parents Country of Citizenship: Bangladesh
• Sponsor Province: Saskatchewan
• Invitations Receive Date: April 24
• Application received in Ottawa Date: May 24
• AoR Received (DATE): Aug 27
• Ecas Status for Sponsorship appl. and PR appl.: Decision Made (sponsorship) and In Process (PR)
• Sponsorship In process Date:
• Sponsorship Decision Made Date: October 1
• Biometric request date : Not received. Biometric valid until
• MyCIC update: We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
• IME / PCC / travel history request date :Requested PCC, Travel history, CV/RESUME etc on October 18 from CPC Mississauga. Sent these by email on October 19th.
• Comment : Still have not got any request for IME.

I have a question, on October 13th, applicant received an email with the subject: You have a new message in your portal account. But once we logged in the the cic account, there was no message. I have seen lots of people received IME before getting the PCC/Travel history/cv/resume etc. request. Could you please advice if it is normal to get the IME request after PCC request? Thanks to all.

MIFI: Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration
CSQ – Québec selection certificate

Only applicable for Quebec residence to sponsor Parents. other province just ignore this.

I was about to order the notes, but it says if you are doing it under the privacy act, you can only do it for a person who is PR, citizen or currently residing in Canada. But my parents are back home.
Also, i got confused now, in requester’s info its my info and in applicant, PA’s info or again mine?
As my application is stuck in process for the sponsorship part. Getting confused now, I have got the consent (inn5744) signed by parents though.

And one more question, do they acknowledge that our request has been accepted by them?

ECAS status for sponsorship showing: Decision Made, once I click, it shows as:

1. We received your application to sponsor xxx on May 24, 2019.
2. We started processing your application on October 1, 2019.
