Hi. I sent the application for my mother in May 25th, and was told it would take two to three days to be received. I still haven't received any e-mails or applications number or communications. Is this normal? Should I wait or call? And what's the best number to get to an agent instead of the recording? Much appreciated.

Wait till mid Sept...I put wrong info in the previous comment..the SA time is about 2 months
Good to know. I was just worried because most guys on this forum whose application was received around may10 has ecas in process or decision made.

I'm trying to link my MIL application to mycic, but I just cant'do it.

I use all her info as PA, passport info, using the formula on this forum to calculate people in the application. Still can't find it! Do I need to create a myCIC account for my husband?
I also had issues linking my mom's application and it turned out that the city of birth had a typo in it. i'd have never be able to link it without someone from CIC pointing that out. If you have the time (waiting times are looong) give them a call :)

I just found out CIC has send request to another department to verify if I have ever used social benefits! Not sure why and where but that’s reason for delay :(

My parents received biometric request. They live in india but they are in Australia on visitor Visa right now and they are staying there for 3 months. I am just wondering if they can go to Australian VFS for thier biometric or they have to go to thier country of residence only. Please advice.

I am having issues linking my application to CIC, therefore i have a question that once the IME passed do they update on ECAS or Send email, or do they just update on MY CIC about it.
I called the doctors office to ask on the 4th day after the Lab tests and they told me to wait for 10 days i am just anxious if everything went well not trying to be impatient.

Thanks in Advance experts

They can do it in Australia.

How did you get to know that?

Would imagine they called again. Things are going at a pretty fast speed but there are processing times involved when there are 27K applications being processed. People shouldn’t be looking at their file daily expecting changes.
