My point 1 was actually referring to people who was referencing GUIDE IMM 5482 which is for Form IMM 1283, a form not being used in PGP.
I see. My point was more for clarification on regular EI as income. The form 5482 clearly is asking regular EI to be deducted from line 150 of NOA. And it is part of parents sponsorship and is not optional for people not submitting SIN. I ordered my GCMS noes. When checking income from CRA system, IRCC distinguishes EI payments. They don't simply take line 150. Consistent with form IMM 5748. In the end though, it all depends on VO like you said and one can get lucky if they decide to let it go.

Yes you are right , how come people think they are unemployed and getting EI for 9/10 month and can sponsor their parents ? Case will be rejected unless the Visa officer decide to let it go but that is rare circumstances

If your income is very close to the LICO cut-off a few months on EI could make a big difference. I think people say line 150 as income in general but people should be going by the guidebook and forms when they fill out PGP which has a much more detailed breakdown.

Hello,

Sorry for asking this question if it has already been answered. What is an SA and PR email? Trying to figure out all the acronyms
SA is Sponsorship Approved

Hi i am new here and would really appreciate some advise.
So I sent my mom's application on May 29 and they received it in Ottawa on May 31. I am super nervous as we have never received an invitation to apply. I checked our confirmation number on the CIC website and found out that way that we are invited to apply by June 28. I do have to mention that we had issues with our email address and I used the link to correct the email. I got the response that it was corrected however no further correspondence was further received including the invitation to apply. Did anybody else have the same issue?
thanks in advance
