Really? you received Invitation to apply in May end? i thought they started Invitations on April 24th till April 27th

most of all received invitation between 24th to 28th April.

Yes these two users received invitation in different dates than normal.

Unfortunately - that may not be the best option in my case. Do you know at what stage in the process - this request is made ?

My request for biometrics came on 11th July, application was received on 2nd May. So it was 10 weeks into the process.

if they are eligible they will get cpp. They have to wait minimum 10 yrs I believe.

Like bdidol said they will be eligible for oas after 10 years spending in Canada “
If you are living in Canada, you must:

• be 65 years old or older;
• be a Canadian citizen or a legal resident at the time we approve your OAS pension application; and
• have resided in Canada for at least 10 years since the age of 18.”

Update on my application process, June 04 received biometric request in cic account and Ecas showed Decision made on July 05. Ecas said a mail (SA letter)o was sent to me on July 04,but till now I have not received it.

Don't believe this is correct. I believe you have to wait 20 years. Given that PGP involves so little people and. very small numbers per year before the past few years there was no point pointing out the PGP applicants were excluded.
