Can please somebody tell me how do i check ECAS for my parents, any help would be very appreciated.
They got 5years multiple visitor visa in 2017 and had to do biometric. For their permanent residency, they didn’t take it cause immigration office didn’t ask them to take the biometric again. It’s valid for 10 years.
Thanks. Will the web form suffice? anything else i need to do?
My parents are not much interested to live permanently here.. they have super visa and they are ok with that.
Can this withdrawal request impact negatively in any way?

Did you sent your applications? If so, I would advice to go with the process. The chance to apply may not come ever. My parents who visited here under supervisa before also do not want to come, but I sent the applications anyway. I told them once the process is done and they landed, they can decided what to do.
If you didn't send it yet, they don't bother. The deadline is already over.
And it should impact on anything.
I used PA's DOB, First and Last name + Passport
the only tricky part (as it's been said before ) it's the number of people in the application
I've tried 2 (both my parents and it didnt work )
I've tried 4 (both my parents + me and my partner who is NOT a co-signer ) and it didn't work
It only worked when I've tried 3 (me + my parents ) which seems very odd
Now I'm curious to see how the quebec path will work, they need to send me a letter so I can go the financial evaluation on the quebec's side, I wonder if it will be too long....
From the cases reported here...in Canada for some time, they are not asked to provide BIO at this time. It's still a bit unclear what will happen to any specific case, but we might assume if someone is in Canada and as there is no bio facility here, they will not ask to do it at this time.
If spouse/partner is not a sponsor, you have to exclude her/him in the count for link purpose. (Also exclude any kids).

When did you be able to see the update on your ecase? After receiving file number?
I tried many times to log in my ecase by my UCI number but it doesn’t work. I still hasn’t received the file number yet.
