My Documents were received at Ottawa on May 9th. There has been ECAS entry as "Application Received" but couldn't link in myCIC.
Waiting status to change "In Progress". Probably will be able to link to myCIC then.

Anyone from May 9th was able to link Application in myCIC?

How is it possible not to count spouse? You should count your spouse, it doesn't matter whether spouse co-signs or no

Applied for PGP for my widowed mother.

I see some earlier updates on the Tracking sheet (Line 7 & 34) mentioning as Document Requested --"Death certificate of the Spouse."

Just to be prepared for similar situation: I do have copy of death certificate which is not in English (in Hindi).

Should i get it translated and whats is process around it ?

yes you must translate and can put it in your package to avoid a delay

here we discuss to Link application to myCIC account how many family member we count :

to link application in myCIC we don't need to count kids.
General formula is [Sponsor person + if co signer] (no kids) + [PA +if Dep]

In my case when i link application to myCIC i did not count kids. and its work.

• when i enter 4+2= 6 No application found
• when i enter 2+2 = 4 i can link application. (kids not count)

I was able to link the application now. It says

We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.

Use Canada post priority mail, it will be delivered next day morning. But remember, the cutoff time is 5 PM to accept the mail by Canada post. So, mail the application before 5 PM and don't forget to ask for recipient signature option.

DO NOT use priority overnight as people had problem with that.

UPDATE:

I can tell that after landing we got SIN in Service Canada, now going to Service Ontario to get Photo ID/purple card/ for people who are not driving, unfortunately its not free
we opened bank account and when you get 1st Stmt - you can go to apply for OHIP /ON/

You can apply for OHIP with photo ID card as well, though not sure what is the turn around on that.
