Hi guys I have a question I wanna ask in advance. For the Police certificate, what is the time range? For example, back when I immigrated, we got police certificates that said in the past 6 months, we did not commit any crimes. For PGP is 6 months okay or do they specify at least some time period? Or whole life?
If they did not specifically requested that in their message, then all documents that you submit to IRCC must be issued or signed within the last 90 days.

No I meant the time period stated in the police certificate, not the issue date. Like in the certificate it will say nocrimes commited from mmddyyyy to mmddyyyy. What is the range between these dates? The past 6 months? 1 year? ten years? whole life?

Hey Friends,
I have got a few questions.

1. Can my parents give biometric in Canada if they get a biometric request and they are here in Canada?
2. Can they give medical as well.?
3. When they get passport request and can they do that final step of PR approval if they are here on super VISA for 2 years.?

Thanks a lot in advance for answering.
- In Canada Biomertics used to be done at CiC authorized agency which was Commissioners Security, if your parents are here in Canada then you will get appropriate instructions where and how to give biometrics so don't worry.
- Again in Medical request you will get all the details that where and how to appear for medical exam and your parents can get medical done while here in Canada on Visitor or Super visa.
- To get your COPR stamped or get status converted to PR, you can go to nearest Point of Entry or Canadian Border and can exit and re-enter Canada and can get status changed at immigration counter there, so your parents can do that while here on Super Visa and get PP stamped with PR Visa. At US/Canada border you can just walk in, no appointment required.

Yes if there is misrepresentation. But they have to prove that. If someone asks for reassessment based on legitimate reasons, CRA decides on that not IRCC. CRA can investigate or fine that person for being late. IRCC can't say they're suspicious of a legal document for no reason.
I have explained many times but someone accused multiply me as tax fraud creator Lol. CIC does not take CRA jobs and CIC will not fight CRA. Suspicious?? Lol everything must be ended with proofs or evidences as CIC mission.

For those who might be in my situation with Canada Post, Hope the below helps:
1- Received by Canada Post
June 12
I sent Priority over night

2- Nothing was updated until June 17

3- June 17 status changed to
Item available for pick-up
Ottawa, ON

Explanation from Canada Post:
The address where this item was going to is classified as a "large volume receiver." This means that the receiver comes to pick up their mail at the delivery office.
Because the receiver has a large volume of items delivered on a regular basis, they actually go to the delivery office directly to pick up their items.

Hi there, I am in a similar situation. Just spoke with a supervisor at Canada Post and they said that the CPC office has an agreement with a third-party company who comes and picks up received packages. He said that it will show up as "Delivered" once the third-party company picks up the package from our warehouse. Are you seeing "Delivered" in your package tracking history? Has it been delivered to CPC yet?

It depends on what the country's PCC's says, some say the validity, some don't. Personal experience: I sponsored my wife and we sent PCC's dated on May 2018, the application was received on July 2018 and she got her PPR a few weeks ago, they never requested updated PCC's. Some countries won't even give you the PCC unless directly requested by the Canadian embassy and you don't even see the paper (Colombia is an example), for Venezuelans, we request it online and a day later we can download the PDF which is what we send for translation and then to IRCC. Hope this helps, besides, you don't need PCC's yet, this comes later in the process
