Regarding financial evaluation, the IRCC (twitter) has confirmed that it will use Gross income.

does anyone know how to calculate Gross income.

I am full time and have no other source of income. On my NOA, i see
  1. line# 150 (Total income)
  2. line#236 (net income)
  3. line#260 (taxable income)

Basically #2 & #3 are same amount.

Reassessment during the same tax year is much less suspicious versus 3 years later right before PGP submission. If people have legitimate reasons for reassessment it should be fine. There are some people who seem to have forgotten a whole second job and discovered their omission 2 years later. Much harder to believe.

That would be a relief. Thanks.

Hey Friends,
I have got a few questions.

1. Can my parents give biometric in Canada if they get a biometric request and they are here in Canada?
2. Can they give medical as well.?
3. When they get passport request and can they do that final step of PR approval if they are here on super VISA for 2 years.?

Thanks a lot in advance for answering.
1. No
2. Yes
3. If you mean landing, there are two options: re-enter Canada or do landing without re-entering Canada right in Canada via IRCC where waiting time is couple months or so.

IRCC can't reject an application because it's SUSPICIOUS. They have to have a reason. If CRA accepts your reassessment request and is okay with it, IRCC can't do anything about it. IRCC doesn't investigate a person's finances. that's CRA's job. This is not Rocket Science

Hi guys I have a question I wanna ask in advance. For the Police certificate, what is the time range? For example, back when I immigrated, we got police certificates that said in the past 6 months, we did not commit any crimes. For PGP is 6 months okay or do they specify at least some time period? Or whole life?

Yes , you are right but it is very common in TRV cases -rejection due to financial misrepresentation not sure about PR. I saw in other forms that IRCC ask for explanation and in case they are not satisfied , they put the application on hold/ reject for misrepresentation

Yes if there is misrepresentation. But they have to prove that. If someone asks for reassessment based on legitimate reasons, CRA decides on that not IRCC. CRA can investigate or fine that person for being late. IRCC can't say they're suspicious of a legal document for no reason.

Please update the Tracker:

I like that word. It's a cross between suspicious and special right?
