my application was received on May 3rd 2019 but I still cannot link my application in CIC MyAccount yet....can anyone you help with which information to enter when linking the application? do I enter my information as the sponsor or my mom's information?

specifically, what information should I enter under "Application details" section? "applicant's personal information"? and "Other Application Information" section?

Anyone whose applications received on May 3rd still cannot link the application yet?
You should enter PA's info, in your case your mom.

Please see this link for tips about linking your application , under the Some Links tab.
If you look under the 2019 tab, you can see other applications received on May 3rd in the same a

Thank u for the reply. No none of my family members ever had a visa refused to them. I am wondering if they can put a file on hold for final review?? I am looking for answers and there is nothing I can find....very frustrating. my mp said there is bring forward date mentioned in file either so it's on hold for indifinte period of time??....this website says the officer must write the reason for putting file status on hold...but on gcms notes there is no reason mentioned.

Thanks Guys, should I get an affidavit or fill the Statutory declaration of common-law Union(IMM 5409) form ?
Affidavit, it's not common law.

Read the guide, it provides instructions for every form.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5772-application-sponsor-parents-grandparents.html#completeApplication

Moreover, the guide clearly mentions: IMM 5409 is only for sponsor and common-law partner, only if the latter is a co-signer on the application.

You don't have much time as the deadline for submissions is close, better hurry up!

Move quickly for affidavit...
On Saturday/ Sunday also, you can manage affidavit...

You support affidavit with your birth certificate if it has names of both of your parents (Mom Dad).. or you can submit copies of their passport, which might be having there names in each others passport as spouse...

If there is any other question, put here on this forum...
But move quickly...

Major Update:

I just got a letter via email from CPC Mississauga (I'm based in Toronto if that matters). I missed the IMM5406 Additional Family Information form.

I realized that I missed the form last week Friday June 14. I don't know how I missed it but I realized that I did when I read a message here about an applicant not adding her sister and I wondered what the hell they were talking about. Imagine, I went through the forms and checklist over and over and still missed a form. Unbelievable.

Anyway, I sent IMM5406 via web form on Saturday June 15. Of course I didn't say anything on the forum because I didn't feel like being lambasted for mailing my application days after getting ITA (got it on April 24 and they received the application package on April 30) and then missing something. But I decided to share because the letter has a couple points of clarification.

Today, June 21 at 4:04 PM EDT, I got an email from CE CSC Do Not Reply confirming that they got the form and they'll forward it.

Also today June 21 at 7:09 PM EDT, I got the letter from CIC.CPCMississaugaDoNotReply saying that they don't have the form.

"If you cannot provide one or more of the requested documents, you must provide a detailed written explanation for each missing document. You must also provide any other evidence or documents you have available to satisfy the requirement." This is pretty standard IRCC wording but the parts below

"You have 30 calendar days from the date of this letter to submit the documentation requested. When you submit your documentation, please ensure that this letter is included in the package. If your application meets the requirements for processing, it will then be placed in the processing queue based on the date on which you submitted an application that was determined to be complete."

further down the letter says

"If you fail to respond to this request within the timeframe specified above, your application will be returned to you. Your sponsorship application, and any related permanent residence application, will not be processed or be put in queue for processing under the PGP cap for 2019. You will not be issued another invitation to apply."

This whole process has been excruciating for me. There are nights when I didn't sleep because I thought I made a mistake. I started a new job on Monday April 29 and didn't sleep on the Sunday or Monday nights due to anxiety over the application.

There's a lot more about this application that I will share when it's all over. Let's see what happens.

At least we can say that they give you 30 days regardless of the end date of submitting PGP applications (28th June). This should be enough time to produce any missing/additional document that they ask for.

Yeah at least they give us a month.

I honestly don't know how I missed that form. I looked over the checklist no fewer than 10 times before and after ITA.

If people miss a form or signature they usually have a chance to correct the error and resubmit. You were stressing for nothing. The big issue is when people never qualified in the first place but submit their application.

The good news is that a CO is looking at your file. :) Also, you gained a few days sending the form before the CO's request.

My guess is that the CO assigned to your file sent the second email without knowing you already sent the form. As the first email says, your form will be forwarded to the CO...hopefully, very soon. :)

Sorry to hear that.

This is why hiring professionals to get it done properly and checked properly is worth it. No sleepless nights for me.

I hope it works out for you.
