On the mailing envelope, do we have to also write a 'from' section with our details? Or just the CPC address is enough?

Better to write. I did with full address and my name as sponsor.

Fingerprints / Biometrics is done in Canada by CiC authorized agency which was Commissioners Security. We got the request for another case in past and was done at Commissioners Security's office.

For PGP, isn't 2019 the first year to request biometrics?

I know certain workers and students can give biometrics within Canada.

Hi,

Today morning(06/20/2019) I received a reminder email from CIC for submitting the application for family sponsorship for parents and grandparents visa by June 28th 2019.

I received the reminder even though I have submitted the application in month of May 2019. The application is received as per the status from the courier company, but there is not acknowledgement from CIC yet.

Has anyone received such remainder or an acknowledgement from CIC for application process.

no worries, i got it too this morning. they sent the reminder out following the invitation email order i guess.
