Should we submit the new versions if we have not sent the package yet?

I'd try to open it on a different software and/or computer. If it doesn't work u can send the old form with an explanation letter but use the other new forms available. They have been available for a week now - there is no good excuse to send in old forms at this point, IMO.

form update does not matter as long as you are downloading from PGP 2019 Kit. It is not that new forms are available for week now, it take weeks for some get form back from home country. Do not stress up with form update.

@Here guys, I am trying to link my application online but clicking on continue after logged in redirect me to http://www.cic.gc.ca/.
Anyone else facing this issue?

Are you by any chance outside Canada today?

I am traveling today (currently in the Istanbul Airport lounge) and was facing the same issue. I tried again with VPN to Canada and it worked. Issue returned when I disconnected from VPN.

Thank you so from your guidance I understand that is ok to send the forms as they are in their previous versions. Is not not needed to send 06-2019 vesrions.

Be truthful now as this is a PR application, not a TRV. If they (chances are very low) ask for any explanation, you can provide that later. It might be better for you to provide their travel history along with the passport copies.

Thanks bdidol.

it is upto you based on your situation. some folks have their parents here in Canada etc.

I personally won't be worrying because of my personal situation. My mother is alone and she cannot do again by herself. I had my sister come to my mom place and help her.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I am in Canada but was logged into my work VPN, when I logged out it worked. But I wasn't able to link the application.

There's still 2 weeks until the deadline, ppl could potentially get the new forms signed if they are only now starting their application. Or not.. it is each applicant's choice.

As per CIC website, "Online applications: After we receive your application, it may take up to 5 days for you to see it in your account. We are working to make this wait time shorter. If your application does not appear after 5 days, contact us and report a technical problem. This issue will not delay processing of your application."

Should I be worried as my application was received on May 7th, still I am not able to see online status and link my application online?

The answer is in your question itself. The 5 day is for for "ONLINE" applications only. PGP is a mail-in application. Please see my post above on timing and process etc.

It depends bud (my mother is not in Canada). I am going by IRCC tweet as my situation is different - 2 week would be tight. I would rather prefer sending old forms (IRCC twitter udpate) rather than missing 28th June deadline.
