Bro, my comment was in a response from the previous poster who is saying that this in humanitarian program. Which it is not. Family re-unification is the core for Canadian immigration system and I am showing what they have in the south of the border simply.

I disagree that family reunification is the CORE for the immigration system here.

I did not migrate to Canada because of this.

I would think that it would sad and disappointing if this was the main reason people chose Canada as their destination to start a new life.

Congrats. I linked my application with FN today but still have no access to ECAS. Weird. Of coz now i don’t need ECAS anymore

you will still need ecas because myCIC only have the portion of the principal applicant pr application but not the sponsorship status. ECAS will have both and will show status when sponsorship eligibility is approved, you cannot check this on myCIC

good for you for sending the new ones but old forms are not reason to refuse an app. returning an app yes, but not refusing it altogether...

I agree this question of new forms and old forms has caused such a chaos.
They can't refuse any application which was sent and received before the release of these new forms.
What was the point for CIC to take this action ...IDK.
But if they refuse the application....on a lighter note:: we can do lawsuit like the 70 people

imm 5768 does not allow to type number in question 7 (total number of persons...), does anyone have the same technical issue? This is the new form they uodated.

Since the new form does not accept BOX 7, I will submit the old form, is anyone having the same issue?

Well obviously the forms are dated 06-2019, so i have used the old form and signed it before june then it is acceptable...

Seeking advise from Immigration Lawyer for Parents PR landing. They received landing invitation in 2018 nov and validity dated till 2019 july. However due to unexpected health reasons my dad is unable to travel. Invitation letter clearly states that any changes in health conditions shall be informed to immigration. Now question is to ask for 90 day extension for landing should i disclose health information or just make silly excuse?

Employment Insurance benefit (EI) income will be counted, my 2018 NOA has 5 month EI but meets the 2018 income.

Unless it is from maternity leave EI does not count for LICO.

You have to declare any changes in medical.

My application delivered to CIC Ottawa office as per Canada post online status on May 17 but i am not able to link it to my account, i get “no application found based in details provided”. Can somebody suggest something. My mother had Supervisa and father got visitor visa in 2016 but those application numbers and UCI doesn’t work because they are old. I didn’t receive AOR email yet either.
